  1. Welcome back Sam,

If you are the same Sam I remember your skills for building were legendary on Orion server.

Although I think I remember you having trouble with a Golden Dragon beam.

I may be wrong, my memory isn't up to much these days.

    Welcome back all the same

  2. +1 for Efi's post above.

Public raiders are reminded that Static players are available on request to help at public raids if needed.

We still maintain a policy of not rolling for loot on public raids.

We believe that the public should get all the drops from their raids.

Hopefully this issue is drawing to a close for the time being.

We appreciate all the support from all sides and are willing to continue discussions as needed.

Finally we would urge anyone wishing to take matters into their own hands in future to open a discussion and see if the issue can be resolved without drama and without the risk of bringing your guild into disrepute.

  3. I am still wondering why Jamoos and Magoo (TurboTerri) think it is acceptable to take down someone elses raid?

If there is an issue on raid triggers is it not appropriate to discuss it on the forums?

A discussion airing their concerns would have saved all this drama and bad feeling.

As for Alurra (ADV) raising the original post?

This was the best option available for everyone concerned as she operates on a totally neutral level taking into account the views of all players regardless of affiliation.

  4. Guess this wouldn't be a properly accurate EnB Emulator if there wasn't emotional contention over who gets to do what raids and when: feels just like the Original.  :D

Speaking as a Member of the Public:

Where does the Public Raid Sector fit into all of this?

Have I misunderstood the purpose of the PRS? I thought that most raid events could be (and were being..?) replicated in the Public Raid Sector (on Sundays?)?

If all (or most) of the raids are available in the PRS for those who desire to do them in an organised, scheduled way... Doesn't that make scheduling/rotating access to the actual, non-PRS based raid events/locations rather irrelevant?

Or have I *REALLY* misunderstood how the PRS works..?

The PRS does need some assistance to get it going.

It is not always possible for Blacklung or GM to be online at the weekends to spawn the triggers.

They also have real lives with their own resposibilities to deal with before logging into the game.

The PRS is a separate entity that probably should not be part of the negotiation / agreement equation between the public and BI , VGE and Static.

Although its presence does raise the question why are players who crave more raid action not finding it at the PRS before tearing up raid agreements

and creating ill-feeling on the server.

  5. Sounds like a good idea.

How about if it was midnight on Monday?

That way if your guild gets their act together on a Friday evening they will get another shot on the Sunday without fear of losing the raid if the spawn trigger runs a little bit late...

    Thanks for suggesting it Raiderman

    Uni..

  6. There has been more than one DT spawn trigger killed in error in the last few weeks.

The root causes are likely that the trigger is not instantly recognisable or that some of us don't look very closely before shooting.

A few solutions such as moving the trigger up or down 20K on the  Z axis could be a way to reduce accidental spawning.

Personally I think Raidermans suggestion of changing the markers on the trigger mobs from red to another colour would be sufficient and hopefully easiest to implement.

None of us wish to add work to the Dev workload.

Of course anyone with suggestions please feel free to add them here.

    Many Thanks

    Uni.

  7. Ralen please note,

The agreement of the 'big three' not rolling on public raid was agreed by VGE, Static and Builders inc. when the public raid week was introduced into the rotation.

It is not my guild rule although it appears that not everyone has abided by it I can confidently say have no knowledge or evidence that suggests that Static have not stuck to this agreement.

    Regards,

  8. Xotto

When I see a trigger up I want to kill it to, but I understand the reason for the current rotation system.  I would be upset if If one of the Big3 ran the raid slotted for public that week, regardless of the reason.

    Unicorn Orion

In Public Raids all who shoot roll on items, If a Big3 member does not roll on loot it is due to your guilds rules, not Public rules.

    Please investigate the original agreement.

Public raids are for public pilots to get access to raid drops. That is why the public have a place in the rotation.

'Big three' pilots have their own raids for access to raid drops. Static do not roll on public raids upholding the original agreement.

If there has been a change to this please let us know the details. I am sure that there will be a much greater participation from Static pilots if they can roll along with everyone else.

    Regards...

  9. If you see a  trigger up and then check again 24 hours later and see it there does that not mean it has been sitting there for 24 hours? if you check back another 24 hours and again the trigger is there then it's been sitting there for 48 hours and so on. Another way to know how many raids a guild has done in a week is to ask.

I'm not trying to stir up drama but any change likely will. I am not asking the public to take raids unasked. I'm merely asking for everyone to think about and discuss future options and reevaluate the rotation so fewer raids go unused.

I'm asking for <big3 guild> to invite the public to a raid instead of letting it go to waste.

    Sorry for any confusion.

I assume that the public would not be rolling for the drops, much in the same way that Static or Static alts do not roll for drops at a public raid...
