In previous stress tests I had gotten my JS to 150 before my JD and JE, this time around my JE is kicking the **** out of both the JD and JS and I've noticed because of this change that the JS is missing something. Both the JE and JD have a way to regain reactor energy quickly (Shield Leech and Energy Leech respectively). The JS does have Reactor Optimization which has the potential to recharge the reactor faster OVER TIME, but for a in your face beamer that doesn't help when the tank's nearly dry as much as an instant recharge like SL and EL do. I've heard many times the DEVs say that such&such class needs more love, are they done with the JS or are they still planning on more to come?
I am 99.9% sure they are NOT finished with the 3 new classes. I do know they have 'shelved' the Scout for a little bit because it has received some 'gifts' from them. I can ask them to clarify more on the point.

I have talked about this but never typed it up. Why does this game have three missile launchers that debuff plasma? Would it be possible to change one of these missile launchers to debuff explosive instead of plasma?
You are talking about the Dung Flinger and the 2 different Hellbores, correct?

I think you overstep your boundaries here a bit Mr. Magoo by making threats to the ENTIRETY of the server and the Emulator team itself. Should I quote you directly here?
Some of you remember I am a rather intrackable enemy to have, and I doubt either the dev's or the playerbase wants a redo of the 2 years I suffered.
How can anyone take anything you say serious when you are threatening to have a tantrum?
You know, I was wondering, when was it that you were able to capitalize the T in TurboTerri again? I can't remember what you said the last time you were in the public channels talking about it.
I suspect Involvement is relative to perspective.

First let me say that I know what point Mimir is trying to make, so please folks, let us not devolve into bashing on him. He is only trying to say/do what he feels is best for our beloved game.
Second off, let me address the reason why I chose this path directly with you, Mimir. I choose this route to get the most feedback from the actual players and not just their perceived leaders. It wasn't meant to call folks out or stir anything up it was simply meant to ask the question whether or not folks feel that the rotation is now null and void. I chose to have it in this forum rather than let it fester and expand in game and take over the chat channels because I admittedly do not know all of the guild leaders. I would hope that the folks who do mention this in game will realize that they are only getting a very limited audience at any one point and no resolution is likely to come from it that way.
My hope is that the players of our game will instead focus on what it is they would like to see happen and stop focusing so much on the he said/she said aspect of all of this. I agree with what many have said about it being tiresome to have to continue revisiting this issue. If change needs to be made, bullying folks into your idea of change is certainly not the route to take. Bring your ideas forth, have a reason and a solution for potential problems and you will likely find more reception to any needed changes.
@ Syberfly: Thank you for being adult enough to admit to and take responsibility for your own actions. That says a great deal about you as a person. I am impressed. Thank you for giving me faith again! :D
@Astrowarrior: Unicorn was quite correct that this is NOT the thread for that particular issue and calling him a 'nazi' for pointing it out? I don't even know what to say about that except I certainly hope that you aren't one of the folks hoping to run for election. If you're that easily offended the position of Player Advocate will certainly light you up like Christmas in Times Square. ;)

I don't raid but.... A public calling out is probably not going to make any feel any better about this.
My suggestion (after the cat is out of the bag, or locking the barn door after the horse escapes) is to keep this between you (Advocate) as the impartial? moderator and the guild leads. There has been enough public channel moaning about this situation.

Who is being called out here? I don't see anyone being called out. I see facts being presented and opinions/input being called for. Your opinion has been noted. ;)
If you are specifically talking about my naming of Jamoos, well that is who made the statement on behalf of BI. If he is not the leader of BI then perhaps we can get the input of the person who is actually in charge?
If you have a list of guild leaders server wide, I'd be happy to get that from you and speak directly with each of them. Since I don't have one, this is the only medium available to get the information to those leaders.

I was informed today that some members of BI and Epic have decided that the raid rotation is no longer viable and they would like to make ALL of the raids a free for all. Jamoos specifically said that he was not happy that the raid triggers weren't taken down immediately and that it was BI's stance that they were formally withdrawing from the raid rotation schedule.
I would like the input from the actual guild leaders (all guild leaders) in this regard as the decisions of these few has the potential for far reaching negative effects on the entirety of the server. We have experienced the 'free for all' mentality in previous situations and it is never a favourable outcome for anyone involved. The bully mentality of "do it when I want you to do it, not when you want to do it' is really an ugly face to wear and I, quite frankly, find it exceptionally unattractive when worn by anyone.

I didn't quite get the same information from what I read as Zack did. I do see where they collect data, or that particular Cortana program does, but isn't that essentially the same as SAM in the older OS system learning your speech and/or Siri for Apple? Sure sounds like it to me.
I also noticed that while everyone is saying 'forced' updates, I see an option for delay updates, which, if able to read further into it, I would assume is very very much like the options available now in Win 7 to either not install them or to install them.
Of course none of my systems have Win10 so I will have to restrict my opinions to only what I can read and not to personal experiences.

Another British player - TolkenMoon - who also uses Virgin Media identified the issue as the Firewall on the Virgin hub being set to "Medium" - possibly following a recent firmware upgrade.
Both he and I have set our Firewalls on the hub to "Low", and are both now working fine.
If you are using Virgin Media in the U.K., and you're having problems gating and docking: looks like that is what you'll need to do.
I shall be composing a song of gratitude to TolkenMoon at some point in the near future.

Be sure that your 'packet optimization' box has a checkmark in it on the launcher. Most people play with all 4 boxes checked. Make this change as admin so it will 'stick'. It should remedy the problem you are having.

Is there a plan to update the net-7 database with the vendors that sell items at the dt station? For example, the "Frit" and "Crucible" are sold at dt, but the databases shows "No vendors found". Weapons and other gear are also sold there that don't show this information. Also items that drop in dt (i.e. "Basic Tool Repair" shows "Does not drop", perhaps that also needs to be updated since the sector's been opened.
I have added this information to bring to the team, Flip. Thanks for your contribution :D

Of all the planetary assests we have to choose from the current one for Pluto is quite accurate, especially when you take into account that Pluto is listed as being a beige/orange colour. Charon could be updated but it is not high on the priority list as of right now.

Have you tried using the 'force update'? It is located under the help tab, then advanced settings, click the button then shut down the client and open it again.

Well then, I will leave it up to those who might have some insight into what might be stopping it. I am leaning toward a setting on your system or a faulty installation of that particular software that is stopping it from working properly. Maybe try a reinstall of just that software and ensure that you are running as admin.

The Terran scout is a great support toon but cant take a punch. Are there any plans to make them just a bit tougher?
I also have a skill idea for the TS. They are a modified TE and should be used as a targeting enhancer like a scout does for the troops. How about a skill called "Target Painting" that marks a mob with a higher sig, slight debuff to ALL damage types (25 debuff would be a good number) and removes the agro from the Scout? This would be a good way to balance the class out a bit and allow the TS to be played in a raid setting without dying every 2 seconds.
I also want to ask a question about the Skirmish Shield. Is it still bugged to where you can't debuff the target again after the initial hit wears off? This is a major weakness that can really make the raids a tough situation to deal with.
In response to the part of your post I highlighted. If there is/was a bug regarding the shield, please post it on the bug tracker portion of the forum and include as much evidence as you can or an explanation on how to recreate it so it can be looked at and fixed if necessary.
With regards to the rest of the post, I will put it on my list for the next meeting, but please keep in mind that the TS is an EXPLORER class, therefore it is highly unlikely they are going to want to 'toughen' it up much. That would take it out of context of being an explorer. I will mention it though.

My summer has been particularly busy thus far. My apologies for the delays in getting information to you folks.

Many items on the Net-7.org website database don’t have the player made information in parenthesis that other items have. One item that comes to mind is the Fury of the Ten-Gu. While the weapon is not manufacturable; the ammunition is; but does not reflect those statistics.
Also, based on the fact that many weapons give 200% statistics, shouldn’t that also follow through with devices? Aquila Prime IBWS 9 is an example of such a device. The database gives the 100% stats, however if my toon has a 200% one in cargo I cannot know its stats unless I log that toon in.
