    Ok how About a flag with galaxy map printed on it, or à recorded personal thank you song from THE dev team (trough TS) although these kind of rewards i would say $200 dollar or something.. Also my post now is a little wonky cause of phone auto correct..

    this will also prolly sort out some legal issues.. (not a lawyer)

    but a gift, is not selling or rebranding as far as i know.
    its just a gift.
    if you give out a shirt with Net-7 on it, or proud member of the community
    its not selling..

    im sure there are a lot of things wrong with this statement.. and i hardly belive out off (what im guessing 10K forum members) no one is lawyer.. :)

    lots of people do this to fund there projects, all based on non profit.
    ie making a movie for fans/indie games (free) etc etc

    Howdy ho,

    quick question/remark.

    i've had troubles installing the game in the past, now its work and i just copied onto a usb
    so can easy reinstall/copy.

    but when i was trying first few times, it failed.

    so beeing the IT git i am i tried the following.

    deleted EA folder/and contents of the game.
    and only installed net-7

    after that it asks for location of client

    now i did a small trick, by using bla bla .. wont got into details on public.
    but turned out the net-7 started downloading the complete game trought its ui.
    dont think that is supposed to happen.

    it did however fix all my problems and i could start playing straight away.

    but are we supposed to put extra strain on the net-7 client or just first demo patch and then net7

    (id like to note this was my last ditch effort)

    i wanted to note this cause i dont know if the net-7 downloads its packages from same place as the other items.

    and cause more strain on the servers or bandwith then necessary

    Well in my opnion there are different solutions to each presenting problem:

    co-locating rented server: pricing is lower cause no bought server but rented.
    but still running on a hardware platform that needs maintenance, and that would be on there chosen time.
    for instance if you host in europe, you will have more downtime in US (cause of maintenance in night), so that would make the choice for hosting easy one, look at your player base and see where most people come from.

    co-locating own server: pricing a bit better but high buy in, and as a + you control your own maintanence, if you choose hot swap raids you can perform most hardware maintanence on the fly.

    VPS Or Cloud: im not sure about these pricing, but you need a reliable cloud platform (amazon!! *giggles*)

    bandwith: how mutch bandwith is everything producing on average per day, and what % growth does it have (so everything between 0-500 players) so you will know what you need p/m or witch percentile for hosting 1 - 10 - 50 - 100 - 1000 mbit (i think)

    anyway im quite sure you guys are busting heads together to work this out :rolleyes:

    what i wanted to finish with is the following, if and when you figure something out.
    and you need funding.

    maybe its viable to set up a * second * pay pal donation method
    so we can donate per when we have money to help you set it up.

    it may take a bit longer but will give more flexibility i think.
    lets say you choose an option: its costs $2500, then you could set the goal to $3250, so you can have a bit room to play with/bargain/ keep with rising costs.

    and if im outa bounds on this one,
    schakle me, muzzle me and trow me into a corner so i can't bother you anymore :lol:

    is just see pixelated graphics in the build interfaces, sometimes a icon is clear other times is blurred.
    i still know how to make my things and what i need but sometimes it is a little annoying.

    any graphic crad tricks i can use, perhaps omega drivers or something or older legacy? (am on nvidia cards mostly)

    Yup i have had the same problem.

    and did all the things that were mentioned twice, and even on multiple systems/os..

    but in the end couldn't log in to my account so i started a new one, witch was ok cause the other one was new aswell, seeing as my original prolly got wiped.

    but ye, new account = more playing.. HF! :)
