SLBushway Posted October 15, 2013 Report Share Posted October 15, 2013 I'm a newbie to the technical stuff will state that up front. I was able to play the game with some success on Sunday night but since then I can't get beyond the galaxy map. On Sunday I had to keep restarting the game after completing a mission or returning to space dock which was OK - last night I couldn't start a mission it would freeze at the galaxy map. I created a new character - same thing. I deleted the game, re-installed and the same thing. Are there updates going on that may be causing this? I have windows XP - I turned the firewalls off and all virus software - I haven't a clue what the issue is any help would be appreciated. namgod Posted October 17, 2013 Report Share Posted October 17, 2013 I had the same problem over the weekend. None of the network changes listed made any difference. Even tried removal and reinstall, and still locked up at galaxy map. Problem is all gone now and the game works fine for no apparent reason. win7 64 Portsmouth VA USA.
