blindsyde Posted April 8, 2011 Report Share Posted April 8, 2011 So i created a TS using the ship creator and upon logging into the game with the character I noticed I cannot prospect. I check my skills and I am missing several skills that should come with the character. When I click the skills to see if I may need a level requirement or a mission to obtain them, it tells me: "Skill not Aquired Bug: Report me" Do I need to do anything else to make them appear? I have tried re-creating the character and trying a different character slot. Please let me know what i gotta do, i am itching to play a TS lol. C Del[IS] Posted April 8, 2011 Report Share Posted April 8, 2011 I was able to create a scout successfully, so it must be on your end. Try verifying your client files. You can do this by opening the launcher, going into the "Launcher" menu in the top-left corner, and selecting "Reset Updates". Press "OK" when prompted to check for updates, which will verify all your client files are valid. You may need to run LaunchNet7 as an administrator on Windows Vista or 7 for the launcher to be able to update the client. If that doesn't work, what is your character's name? A fellow Scout showed me where to get the skills once you reach the appropriate levels. So far I have gotten Prospect and Missles even tho the descriptions are bugged. I guess the problem is just with the description of the skills, it doesn't tell you what level requirements or mission/NPCs you need to talk to so you can get the skill. It must just be a problem with the description of the skills. Are you guys aware of that? Or is that just on my end? My character's name is Atemi btw in case you want to see what I am talking about. All my skills that I have not learned are grayed out and if I select the skill from my character sheet it tells me in the middle section (where you would get info on how to acquire the skill): "Bug: Report Me" Any Ideas?
