theftprevention Posted December 30, 2009 Report Share Posted December 30, 2009 I installed E&B off of the disc, then ran the patch program and installed Net7. Everything worked fine and I was able to create an account and log in. Whenever I try to log in for a second time, though, after I enter my login information and hit enter, the character selection screen doesn't show up; the game just crashes. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled again (a process I would very much like to avoid doing again), and the same pattern occurred: I was able to log in, create a character, and play the game the first time, but the second time, the client crashed after entering my login information. Any idea what the problem is? I'm using a Dell Studio 1745 laptop with Windows 7. My internet connection is stable and hasn't gone out. LaunchNet7.exe is being run with administrator provileges. Radnave Posted January 1, 2010 Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 I am also having this problem. I log in, and EnB crashes, but the Net7 dos frame continues to run. I am using Vista x64. Any suggestions? >> I got it working, had to set compatability mode for both LaunchNet7 and client.exe (found in Ea Games > Release) to Win XP sp2. runs fine.
