jasonf Posted July 4, 2010 Report Share Posted July 4, 2010 Ok for some reason this file will not up date... i error message popped up but i do ot know what it means or how to fix it... this is what it says. Update Failed. Downloaded file is invaild. Hash downloaded file and hash in serve manifest does not match File: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Data\client\ini\effect.ini. can anyone please help me... i have tried to reset the updates and force update but nothing seems to work? C Del[IS] Posted July 6, 2010 Report Share Posted July 6, 2010 Try updating a few more times. A file is being corrupted as it's being downloaded. If you notice that a single file seems to be failing each time, go and delete the file and try again. Otherwise, you may need to delete your Earth & Beyond folder and re-install.
