Is someone putting together a list of total possible prints by class? Then you could do another ranking by percentage which would give all the classes a somewhat even ground.

In his defense, the name of the game is [b]Earth[/b] & Beyond.
However as Kyp said the storyline talks about how Earth is not what it used to be. I would find it cool though if it could be a landable planet with a bunch of abandoned waypoints and broken buildings and such. -

Where I work, we have an internal web application that uses a similar type of aliased login (multiple alias can be used with a single login) and if someone deletes an alias we don't actually delete it from the database. We use a char(1) column titled active that has two values, either 1 for active or 0 for inactive. Then any queries we use to pull alias from that database just have to add a simple where clause (where active = '1'). And then we have a module created that if someone wants to reuse an old alias that was deleted, we pull all alias based on their login id and set active back to '1' on the one they want back.

Hmm, been gone for weeks, finally decided to come back again and get stuck on the map screen. Tried with optimization and reordering on and off, neither seemed to matter.

You would think an advanced technological race like the Progens in the 26th century would have found a way to remove the need for pen and paper....
And if you worry about leaving the information in your log as a security risk, who in Khan's name is doing software security for the Progen Republic? Microsoft?

I didn't play very long in live, but there seemed to be so much more of a storyline attached to the game. I know storyline is something that is probably going to be added as we get further along, but I wouldn't want to see it be a requirement to level up. I like the ability to just grind it out and get to the same end point.

Just in case people were wondering, I still couldn't decide who to root for prior to the game. When the Packers jumped out to the big early lead, I started rooting for the Steelers, just for the simple fact that I wanted a decent game to watch not a blowout. But, the commercials are always the best part. Little kid in the Darth Vader costume was funny, the amazing rack commercial with Faith Hill was good, the Snickers commercial with Roseanne was awesome.
And Christina Aguilera messing up the national anthem was priceless.

When it comes to the Proto items, if they turn out to not be very good with the new quality ranges, maybe they can be looked at later in the balancing phases of getting the game ready.

And as CDel mentioned the looted non-manu items in live were already pretty powerful at 100%, but it seems some of the proto items here in the emu at 100% leave quite a bit to be desired. I would have no problem with a 125% cap if that means that non-manu item at 125% rivals a similar PM item at 200% and I don't think we have that here.

I never had good faction with the RD back in live, which made me wonder, if you had good RD faction would you still get ambushed?

Ok, here is my issue. I have watched every Super Bowl since 1980 and have found a reason to root for at least one of the teams competing. This year I am struggling to find a reason to root for either of them. Here is my background. I grew up with my older brother and father who were both Steelers fans, I didn't want to follow the group so I rooted for the Raiders and have been a fan for 30 years. Going all the way back to the early 70's and the Immaculate Reception (google it if you don't know what that is), I have found it hard to ever root for Pittsburgh. 95 I rooted for the Cowboys against them, 2005 I rooted for Seattle, 2008 I rooted for Arizona. Now on the other side, we have Green Bay. When they first went back to Super Bowl in 96 with Favre, I rooted for them and in 97 against Denver, well being a Raiders fan I automatically have to root against Denver. After that point, Packer fans started to get a little too full of themselves and made it difficult to want to root for them again. I was hoping for a Bears/Jets Super Bowl, but since they both lost, now I don't know what to do. Here's my pro's and con's:
Green Bay pro - I am from the midwest
Steelers pro - They are from the AFC same as my team
Green Bay con - Aaron Rodgers little championship belt thing he does when he scores
Pittsburgh con - Ben Roethlisberger is a tool
Green Bay pro - Clay Matthews Jr. The hair, the attitude, great player, fun to watch
Pittsburgh pro - Troy Polamalu. Ditto
So I'm asking for a little help, please vote on who you think I should root for.

We could always make it unreasonably complicated and model loot qualities as a normal distribution with a mean of 100% with a standard deviation of 10% or so. That way, 68.2% of loot would be 90-110%, etc. There would be a small chance of loot falling above 130% or below 70%, but of course there would also an extremely minuscule chance of loot popping out at 400% or 0%. Sounds fun to me.
Hmm... where did my pocket protector go...
A normal distribution showing standard deviations? I got a solid A in Fundamentals of Statistics in college. Standard deviation is about the only thing I remember.

I can understand wanting to censor certain parts of the game for the sake of the kids, but as far as the Shakti ads go, there are worse things said in the chat sometimes.
(That can be turned off though.)

I think this has been suggested before and I believe the issue is that this would require modifying the client, which the dev's do not have the ability to do.

If you think of the basic idea of looting, you destroy a mob, you can search their corpse for any object that may have been using that you can take. By capping below the max quality is basically saying that the mobs would never use an item above a certain level which to me sounds wrong. I agree with more of a sliding scale, higher percentage equipment being more rare of a drop.
Another thought, flip the idea around, if a mob kills a player and was able to loot their equipment, what are they going to find more commonly? 100% items? 120%? or 200%?

I believe this saving issue has been going on for a while, I seem to remember something about those issues with the September or October patch. A few days ago, my PP was hunting Vindis Warriors in Niff, I had flown back to Arx Ymir because my BB ammo and my Archos ammo was empty and I was out of one of the comps to make more, so I put two of my Biles on and put my Archos and my BB in my vault. When I logged in yesterday, my Archos was still installed with no ammo, my BB was in my vault and one of my Biles was completely gone.

Achiever Socializers appreciate groups, clans or guilds for than just pure social fun. An AS relishes the camaraderie of cooperation within a top flight team, savoring the renown gained from successfully pitting themselves against the grand-challenges of a virtual world and attaining goals that cannot be reached as an individual.

Whoa, did anybody else notice this? Am I mistaken or is this a direct answer to a question? Somebody contact Var or Khan, I think the Jenquai or Terran scum have implanted some mind control device into Byakhee causing him to reveal secured data. The fate of the Progen race is at stake! Where is Dora? We must unite and destroy these inferior pests!

So if they are still in game, is it bugged so I can't get it? Neither Var or Memnon will talk to me other then their generic chat tree.
I had the same issue a while back, actually had to have a GM give me the mission, (then failed on 3 of the 4 prints
) so you may want to file a ticket. -
Ammo rarely fails to analyze (or should if memory serves)
agree that it ammo should rarely fail to analyze, but that is not the case. When I did the BB Ammo mission a couple weeks ago, failed on two of the ammo prints and just yesterday tried to analyze some lvl 6 ML ammo that I got off some Terrans in Moto and failed on the first 2 attempts.
