    Just wondering how long will the server be down? As I looked in the forums and saw nothing stated to what happened if it crashed or was taken down for some reason. Would be nice for it to come back online so I can start playing again. I have been enjoying it for 2 days now and cant get enough. Also a big thanks for the hard work and the continuing of the game which is not left for dead. You guys are awesome for bringing it back, a salute to you guys!! ;)

    most likely until its beeing started again, which can take a while depending on when a dev that has the capability comes online.

    Locking 3 ships in form, especially missile boats, and just hitting E and then F makes it pretty doable.

    Once bosses are properly implemented, and your wingmen are getting grav linked, summoned, whatever, then yeah multiboxing basically goes out the window from a strategy standpoint. I don't worry at all about 1 individual KSing something like a properly implemented Controller, not likely at all.

    would be too much of a hassle for me.. i want to play this game without stress, so i only let my other accounts leech (so far i havent done anything more than explore, because jes suck at combat) :(

    I am suprised that so many people are interested in finding ways to exploit the game via bots, macros or multi-boxing exploits rather than playing the game normally. Multi-boxing WILL not have to be eliminated if the DEVS fix the multi-boxing exploits that are currentlly being used. If they don't plan to fix the exploits then I feel as though that it should be limited.

    hmm i somehow dont get what you mean with exploits. so far the stuff you mentioned seems to be normal gamemechanics. an exploit is usually something that was not intended to be that way (i.e tradexp between players was never supposed to be there, so using it to level would be an exploit). since tradexp between players or groupbonuses while exploring/hunting were always supposed to be there and work the way they do, i fail to see the exploit here.

    if for example, i decide to tour 2 of my accounts around the galaxy and level EL to 50 in 2 days or less (hypothetically speaking), then that would not be an exploit. if you were to classify that as an exploit, you would have to forbid tours completely and remove the groupbonus completely. same goes for hunting with 3 accounds (where 2 are only leeching xp). it is intended to hunt in groups and its also intended that people get xp for a kill even if they didnt shoot at the mob even once. so if we classify this as an exploit, we have to remove hunting/leeching-groups altogether.

    finally trading account to account. if tradexp between players were not wanted, the devs would remove it. who would even want to forbid me to trade my stuff to my 2nd account instead of the vendor?

    the only thing that would be valid as an exploit would be if i could outgun a single player with my 3 accounts.. which is very hard because i can only control one account properly.. the others are basically only leechers.

    p.s.: this is only my point of view on the whole matter.

    I went to the e&b folder and launched the client myself and entered my name & pass and it says " account temporary banned "??? why do I get this never was able to log in and the net 7 launcher gave me an error so now when I do I get banned? Curious to why this happened as I am new here and had been having troubles getting this thing to run. Anyone have any ideas here? I registered for everything including the stress test 3.

    you dont get banned. this simply means that you never used the activation link in the email you got after creating the acc.

    Macros = It's okay if you have it pressing keys such as click to manufacture ammo, or for it press all your buffs at once etc small non-game breaking.

    Bad Macros = Acts like a bot. Does trade runs for you, mines for you, kills mobs for you etc.

    Multi-boxing is alright as long its not over 3 characters.

    For those concerning. "Multi-boxing" most mmo's see it as using 1-2+ computers to run multiple accounts to gain advantages over other players in 'combat.' So mining with multiples, killing with multiples = bad if they disallow it in a MMO, but pretty much any MMO I know allows you to have 'multiple' accounts online to transfer + build items. As long as your not 'exploiting' over someone else. Since 1 Person = 1 player in combat, but if a multiboxing comes alot 1 person = 2 players. (Btw its not hard to form and just hit the assist then f button on other keyboards or download a program that where you hit one button on this keyboard goes to other one to)

    But I'm against multi-boxing. Since I don't do it, besides running dad's computer and mine if I want his to make something for me real quick. Though I don't consider that multi-boxing. I'm USING 1 box at a time, I run over and get it then this one idles. Back and forth etc. Having both 'boxes' DOING something is what I define multi-boxing.

    Edit: For those wondering 99% of games allow you to easily run 2 accounts at once on same computer (transfering) this game doesn't 'easily' let you, but still possible.

    in wow you are allowed to have as many accounts online as you can afford. they absolutely endorse multi-boxing.

    Is it currently possible to run 2 Net7 Clients on 1 PC ?

    If so, How ?

    it might be possible but it is not wanted because it can cause issues as far as i know.

    in wow we had a guy we called him team 5box... he got 5 toons to L150 and would solo run them through 5 man dungeons... he said it was cuz his play sched was whack so that this way he didnt have to find or leave a grp at a moments notice... I think he had a home business he was running... it was cool listening to him in guild chat when he was in a dungeon rolling for loot between his 5 toons :P

    lvl 150 in wow? never :)

    3 accounts is enough.. at least for me..

    ich have 3 computers and handling 3 accounts is mostly too tough (even handling 2 effectively is tough).

    i personally think multi-boxing is a non-issue as long as marcos are forbidden. noone can handle a group of 6 computers effectively (maybe 2, the other 4 are just leeching xp) and with 2 effective fighting characters he should be no match for a group of 6 people (or a group of 3 people for that matter).

    the only thing where you could gain an advantage with multi-boxing is with touring your other characters. even so, he would not disturb the playing experience of other players that way would he? multiboxing is neither useful for combat, nor for mining, simply because its a lot of work to handle multiple characters.

    just my 2 cents though

    Gak?!? Warsteiner just made Lvl 135 last night - and gone? Oh man.

    i dont know since when this is happening, but i would just try to login if i were you. if the character is there its of, if not.. thats another story :)

    like most people, i can not create a new toon. unfortunately when i logged on this morning, my already made toon is now gone too. his name was mervyn and now i can not play at all since i can not make any new toons. thanks for the help.

    you most like did a hullupgrade and the logged out.

    im sorry but it looks like your character went poof. got deleted by the server because of the hullupgrade.

    My BIG Suggestion is that the xp bar show the amount of xp needed to level in POINTS and not a %

    Also I want my FF logo back on my ship

    i second the xp-thing. with the amount instead of percentage you can calculate how many traderuns/mobs/navs/roids you need to get to your next level.
