Ghinn

I randomly had the idea that my G2 might be able to emulate Windows. A quick check on the Android Marketplace confirmed it. It's a modified version of DOSBox, and I'd be able to install Windows 98. I'm looking at the EnB retail box (of course I kept mine - didn't you?), and it says that it can run under Win98. I'm wondering if the launcher would work... Has anybody else tried this yet? I'll post my progress if I can get it up and running. I've been able to play EnB while tethered to my phone's internet, so my connection can support it. I wonder if I'd be able to give the VM network access?

Could you try moving Ghinn back to Luna Station? When I click on him, it still says that that's where he is. If it doesn't work after that, I'll scrap him and start over. I appreciate all your help with this. I wish the problem had been apparent, that it could be fixed so other people don't lose characters. I'm just lucky that he wasn't so far along that it's a huge deal to start over.

My second character is working again, guess it was just a fluke. Ghinn still crashes.

And now it's happening on another account. Docked at Earth Station, accidentally clicked to talk to Donny Elfman, and no dialogue box came up. I hit escape and exited to character selection, but now it's crashing when I try to play.

Still crashing. Characters on other accounts are fine, so I'm still playing and enjoying the game, but I'd love to be able to work on my TE.

Nope, still crashes. I don't know if this is important, but when I click on him it still says he's in Luna Station.

Tried it on both computers, still crashes when I try to choose Ghinn.

I'm having a similar problem. I CTD'd trying to dock with Luna Station, and now I keep crashing when I try to load that toon. I have an alt on the same account that loads just fine, and one on another account that also loads fine. I also tried logging in a number of times, kept crashing. I tried it on a different computer, same thing. Any ideas?

Yeah, the server is online now. Guess it slipped offline while I was installing the client. All good now!

I had net-7.org open, and it said it was online when I was downloading the files. Damn. I guess I'll try again when it says it's up. Thanks.

Hi. I'm trying to get the launcher working, and I'm having the weird "server offline" problem. I've poked holes in my firewall, I've disabled the firewall, I've even DMZed myself on my router, and I still can't get it to show that the server is online. net-7.org shows that the server is online, but the enb-notifier doesn't. The launcher did update, so I really don't understand what's happening. I'm running Windows 7, but I'm going to try it on my Linux box and see if I can get it running in Wine. Even if I can, I'd really like to be able to play in Windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
