I had to uninstall and reinstall and not use a custom directory. That fixed it. Ty for the help! Much appreciated.

After hitting Play, a new window pops up with "Downloading Patch information..." and "Connecting" After about 60 seconds, "Error: 2 Couldn't connect to the update server. Try again later." Note: I followed the instructions on the FAQ and it did update several times before now.
