Just add a mandatory reason dialog to the shutdown command. The entered text could then be shown in the launcher. That would increase usability a great deal.

Hi there, It would be great if server downs / patches would be announced in the announcment forums. If an estimated time of return (server being online again) would be included, even better. At the moment I have one or two hours spare time at my hands for "stress-testing" EnB, but server's down. Thats not a problem, but it would be really handy to know how long it will be offline. 10 Minutes and I just take a walk with the dog, 2 hours and I start house-cleaning... tl:dr - Please announce planned downtimes.
