When E&B Sunset was announced we were in the middle of a Guild Vault for all space stations and bases.
All work on content stopped. We were as shocked as the players when EA announced that EnB was Sunsetting.
Guild Vaults... good.
EnB Sunset... bad.

Maybe throw in some Class Representatives too...
One for each community?!

This is a Progen Relations Update.
Earlier today, a Progen Peace Corps Patrol encountered a suspicious Terran hulk near the vicinity of Mars.
An Unknown Data Disk was recovered...
It's contents analyzed and scanned.
Five Technicians perished...
Valuable time in the form of two hours was lost!
The Terran entertainment file known as "Twilight"...
Is now deemed as being dangerous to the best interests and over-all security of the Republic!
All copies are to be destroyed on sight!
Those found in possession of this illegal file are to be persecuted to the fullest extent of the Law!

To me, it is not about race as it is about lore tbh.
Lore Based Guilds.
Battle lines are well drawn throughout the galaxy through lore.
RD Guilds. Would be cool to pillage space and in a RD ship to boot.
Why not have Chavez as a playable faction and guild choice?
Economics and politics require conflict and resolution imo.
Good guys need bad guys.
Just like Terrans and Jenquai need re-education centers and airlock exiting drills.

What do PPs have to go through to get menace? I've forgotten.
Have to get 10 Athanor Standard Mounts, 10 Blackbox G12s and 10 Cyclo 50 ghz Modulators.
Not impossible (just a matter of hunting, looting, printing and building) but prospecting the raw topaz was waay easier in comparison.

um ... yeah if you have one of those nifty modern keyboards with the macro buttons you could easily do that. I think there's also plenty of software available that will map F12 to one of those functions.
Used a Nostromo n52 during Live. Works great still.
The newer model n52te, while flashy and shinier, is not as good imo and not just because it got te in it.

Just a note about Menace on the PP... depending on what kind of PP you are (combat only, builder, all around) you might need to be careful about how you spend your skillpoints as you may run short. Many of the PP's missions later on the down the line force you to put points into your build skills (to like lvl 2/3) even if you don't want to be a builder so keep that in mind. Obviously you can CF and regain your skill points at 150... but during the leveling process, points are tight and always in need.

Things weren't so bad once my PP got Projectiles 1 then talked to Zieg and killed CL 3s till I got Missiles 1 and mucho xp.
Build Weapons helped me build some MLs and ammo that I looted from the lvl 1 RD Drones.
The Cl 6s and 8s were great xp and fun to solo. Kite, kite, kite.
A bit of freewarping is usually required at some point for quests and the mission did have a helpful hint imo.
My only beef with PP is getting the Menace Skill. PSs have it easy with just having to go to Primus and prospect for a little bit. Menace is awesome and my PP needs it still.

Because the weapon type that you can get to level 9 is the biggest reason to chose one race over another. If you want missiles, choose Terran, etc. Since all races now have all 3 professions, that is no longer a reason to chose an alternate race.
Why do we need a reason to choose one race over another?
Why not open up more diverse character building options and gameplay?
I like being Progen for the lore but I really hate being pigeon-holed into using Projectiles.
Am also a closet kiter and a big fan of MLs.
As to the topic, I can agree with Terrans and say leave the kiting to those kiting.

All races DO have access to lvl 9 weapons - but only the variety that matches their racial profile.

I'd like to see more variety amongst weapon and playstyle options.

I can't really propose a solution for the first 2 things, but for the third thing perhaps Blacksun could do it, maybe there could be some other companies that make such stuff available in game.

Open PVP sounds cool.
Sector wide.
Battlegrounds are just fancy arenas and I hate those.
I am down for Racial PVP.
If not, maybe make a Pirate faction PVPable.
Player RDs vs Player Chavez vs Players who opt in for PVP (players could get "deputized" aka flagged for consent).
Cops and robbers galaxy wide.

Hail Progen!
This is a Progen Relations Update.
Progen Peace Corps Command is recovering from damages inflicted by dissidents of possible Terran and Jenquai origin during the recent Holidays.
Faulty construction led to flooding which resulted in the loss of an Informations Terminal and it's affiliated network.
Volunteers from the More Work Exchange Program are suspected to be behind this latest act of terrorism.
Communications have been restored and Progen authorities are determined to bring those responsible to Justice!
