You're right, and we don't respond well to hostility. With that in mind, you lost me after the first sentence or two since this is only the second time I've seen you blast a change to cloak that was done in the INTERIM to stop a very obvious cheat that allowed Jenquai to avoid damage entirely with the right timing. In the long view I can think of three or four such posts like that, of course not all about cloak, and even one where you threatened to quit.
This is the only time I'm going to respond to your opinion regarding cloak, stop posting it on every mining thread you come across. Unless you've got some genuine assistance or information to offer in terms of good ideas that don't hurt the game too, then keep it to yourself, your hostility doesn't help us and it doesn't help anyone else. As a collective whole, I doubt anyone cares about how it makes you feel since they are forced to read it to look at other ideas.
If you continue to blast us or our decisions when you don't know the whole story first, and/or don't offer an alternative aside from 'this sucks kthxbye', I'll moderate your posts so they require review before they're allowed because I don't think anyone cares to see the blatant hostility you seem to show every time something doesn't go your way.
In regards to CC, there's nothing to find to make it work, just code to write. You're welcome to contribute it, if you like, aside from that it's low priority and will be handled before we "go live" with this game.
okay - you are right about the hostility. Just takes me a while to boil over. I love to mine, and from what I have seen,most changes are made to the je regarding combat. I don't do combat. I do understand that the programming does not allow compartmentalization in terms of functions applied for a given purpose. Bummer and not your fault. I know you guys are trying to balance gameplay, but I also see that most changes are made for combat purposes. I guess I'm still seething a little over my alts getting in the way. ykwim.
If you think I'm bad here, you should know me in rl.

Content can be added at any time which you guys have just proven by ripping the behind out of the jennie miner. I hope powerdown for the ps sports the same feature. Powerdown for the ps provides the same function as cloak for the jennie. And if you are going to rip the Jennie miner apart, where the Hell is the CC skill? The Lord taketh away, perhaps he should complete the race/profession before that taking.
So – total aggro for all races, rip apart powerdown, and find the skill to add contemplation. Huge order, I know. But I know you can do anything you set your mind to. You just make the choices you wish to make.

Whoa - exactly why are you making voters apparent? This makes fair voting psychologically impossible. A person's vote can be influenced in this way.

Team Speak 3 has never worked on my laptop, and this is s winXP machine that was never intended for "chat" with anyone. I sort of like to keep all you internet folk in the corner of my mind, not in my rl like so many others like to do. I have even muted my virtual presence in virtual reality. I don't do face book or all those other bells and whistles unless someone specifically requests it. I can probably make the effort to reload my os on my laptop to see if there is some overlay between ts2 and ts3 causing some sort of file corruption, but it will take a painful need for me to do so. I just reloaded the os on this ancient 2002 machine, and boy did it hurt. SGO

I have discs on which I have the enb program minus the windows components. Sort of leaves a lot of stuff hanging in the wind, I suspect. I used to save e v e r y t h i n g. Just an old habit of mine. Reminds me of someone else who always says:

I been here since st2.....Not gonna give up on em now. We are so much better of now than back then......this is merely a little annoyance. Thanks again to those who give their time to keeping us playing.

Capture the cargo requirements are (currently on play), Version 7.1
- CL 50
- Basic Progen Optional Mission Token
- Max Hull level
- Progen
Stages are:
1. Talk to Gratis Augustus Var
2. Go to PAX Decima Gemina, give them the B.P.O.M.T
3. Kill the Awakened Genetic Cargo
4. Go back to PAX Decima Gemina and Talk to them
5. Go back to Gratis Augustus Var and get your Symbol of Loyalty as a reward.
It doesn't award XP, credits, faction or anything else.
If you do not have the B.P.O.M.T. in your cargo on stage 2/5 the mission will not advance.
You are unable to recieve a 50m token anywhere on this mission.
Please note, this mission was opened to all Progen to give a chance to see what bonus missions were available on the B.P.O.M.T missions. This mission will be brought back into the fold of bonus mission on a B.P.O.M.T. mission tree requiring the ability to equip a certain level of shields and to have done the mission available between hull level @ 100 and before the final hull level.
Version 7.2 will therefore become unavailable if the mission that spawns it is not in your log the next time there is a content push. This is intended, as the B.P.O.M.T missions are intended to release high level content later on. B.P.O.M.T for mission uses will eventually be useless once you have passed the last hull upgrade.
That tagline? If you love challenging missions? I'm in the wrong place.

I don't know about everyone else, but I play this game to have fun and laugh with my comrades. The only economy that concerns me is connected to the grocery store where I shop.
Ban the botters across the board. You bot, you get banned.
And to Hell with all getting along. Let's just all have fun.
Oh, and until the fun resumes, I'll be playing mindless solitaire on pogo.com. (Where the only thing I have to worry about is how to ignore their commercials.)

Yea – I figure I owe an apology for my tirade. But I also figured the reason we were killed was because the one who killed us wanted to mine there. Hey. You guys work hard on this program and you deserve to have us step aside so you can have fun, too. We didn’t even have to know you were a Dev. We most likely would have stepped aside regardless.
Having us step aside by killing us was not right. You didn’t even ask. I’m often saying that our community is a microcosm of humanity. If you are going to exert power to get what you want in here, you will do so in our real world also. That is what I react to, not some silly game.
You guys work hard. I love watching some of you guys triumphantly achieving a fix for some problem in the game. I have pretty much forgotten everything I knew about engineering, but I have not forgotten that feeling one gets from “the fix.” Kudos, guys and gals.
Thank you for the time you put into this game. But please let honesty rule your actions. You have a standing in our human hierarchy that not too many of us can enjoy. Remember us little guys in your actions and treat us with respect for the little part we play in the game.
And if I am wrong, I guess I can apologize for that, too. Just know that I do appreciate what you do for us.

i for one LIKE this. for me it adds a little spice (like a pop rock) to mining.
the fact that you immediately started cursing about it, and the "abusing power" devs here and in chat just proves to me that you need to grow some thicker skin.
there are better ways to voice your anger,
maybe asking why it happened would be a start.
yea - by the way, Cheeseball - I don't like your name. I do not like being a Dev Toy, and if Devs want to put in "sweet spots" as the dev who killed my toons put it, they need to not be in player accessable areas, and we need to be given lists of where we should not mine.

What? We think kids are stupid now? I have young folks running these wtf and stuff like past me like I'm stupid. I just say sgo. They say, "Whassat?" I say, "Sucks getting old."
If you say wtf in front of a 10yo now, they know exactly what you mean, so don't think OMFG gets past them.
I say apply the TOS instead of just waving it around and clean up these names and boot those using these cute little ploys to get past the TOS. Otherwise don't wave it at me when I spell it out.

I actually think this is the fun part of beta testing. Yea - I know, I've heard it before. Not supposed to be fun. Although I do not have autism, I do have pattern/jigsaw puzzle thinking. It's great until you take English classes, although it works well with those, too, for termpapers. I tend to "see" things others miss, but would give it all up for a verbal thought process. That's why I fish around looking for input about patterns. I'm sure Tien will find the path and set us all straight.
And when I went back to college, I became (go figure) an English Major. Nice way to trail away from microtechnology. Beat myself over the head, but I learned much.

On my TT who is 150+++++++++++ and then some, I am missing refined adamantine through refined Galactic iron. My refined ores start at Herculinium and go on from there. I can't see ammo comps - Flaming bile, brimstones - man I wish I had a before picture. This shows pretty much on an alphabetical sort with just over the top six rows missing. (a ce3k I54 does sit all by its lonesome in the second slot of the second row. So it could be all things "C" are safe. I said could be...
My 150+++++++++ JE can see refined adamantine. But her correlation to missing things seems to bunch in the value sort. Whatever she has in the lower values is misssing. Do a sort on value and the two top rows in vault are missing. She pretty much only carries level 4/5/6 ores, but does have some other things.
Eh ... Not consistent. Docked that same TT at F7 and she lost her entire vault. Brought her back to omp, and she regained about 4 rows. All items in her vault that are missing are in the values sort 12 rows + first 2 slots of 13th row missing

I don't know why, but some systems do this. I have an xp 2002, a 2007 vista laptop, and a 2007 vista desktop. The vista desktop will not run the client unless I upgrade to win 7, but I have a program that will not run on win7. So - I am lucky I can use the other two.
Both the vista machines are gateways (now acer in disguise)
