1. We're having the same issue on my husband's computer all of a sudden (worked fine last night.) Clearing the Earth & Beyond\Data\client\output folder didn't do anything.

CTD after clicking enter at login screen on Zigen's account. I can log in fine on my computer, including onto Zigen's account.

There were Microsoft Updates yesterday. Both Zigen and I dlded them. Zigen runs 64x Vista Ultimate, I run 64x win7 Ultimate.

Ticket submitted.
2. I grew up in Europe where beer = yellow, thin piss

Except when I visited Amsterdam, where I had an Oranjeboom stout that I've never been able to find again. I bet Belgium has great beers. Never been to the UK.

Now I've been living in the US for a very long time and have recently begun to discover breweries. You know, small-scale companies that produce ingenious brews.

Right now I'm sitting here with a Belgian Yeti made by Great Divide Brewery here in Colorado. This is a thick, black brew that just blows my mind. Thus far I've been a fan of Great Divide's Oak Aged Imperial Stout (which btw is the best replacement for Guinness in a Guiness bread!) ... but this Belgian Yeti's awesome. There's a Brazilian Black beer, Xingu, that is fantastic, super refreshing with no aftertaste. These types of brews are a bit more expensive, are higher in alcohol and to be enjoyed like a good wine ... the complete opposite of a Budweiser.

Anyway, I was super surprised at how many different, wonderful brews are to be had here in the US. I know of one mountain-top brewery in my homecountry Switzerland, Brauerei Monstein, (most of those beers are light color, too) but microbreweries haven't caught on as much there as they have here in the US, it seems.

Explore, save up and buy that $10 bottle and enjoy, I say.

I do have a question though, my roommate also plays the game (though I'm not sure he has enough posts to vote or not) if he happens to vote for the same person I did would that be seen in the database as me voting twice? We do have separate accounts and his is not linked to my email or forum account.

I was wondering the same thing, as there are multiple accounts and multiple players in my household, sometimes on the same computer.
4. We are having the same issue on three comps in our home; 1 win xp 32, one vista 32, one vista 64.

5. unexpectedly weak...

It's a small crew of volunteers. Perhaps you'd like to get involved and write the patch notes? It would indeed be cool to have them!

On another note we're in stress test, it's neither beta nor release so they just push what they have.

6. After speaking with Afvet yesterday and having all the details explained to me I am now retracting my decision to leave the Dev team. (If they will still have me)

All the "Nags" that I had have been explained to me and I now fully understand the decisions that were and are to be made.

I will continue to work on the project that I have been assigned to and I agree that no one should have access to slash commands on the play server and this was not the issue that I had.

My issue was with communication.

Nuff Said..

Fly safe

out.

W0ot!!

7. And before we get a ton of posts on this thread asking whats happening. Here's your answer.

Well,

I can't say I didn't know the hammer was falling. [snip]

That's not the tweaking he was talking about. They are doing a content update today Sunday. Since we're in stress test and it's neither beta nor live, no announcement is necessary for a server downtime.

Although this may or may not be a server crash or the content update :)

8. Maybe all we need is a roid lock timeout of a couple of minutes, after which the server automatically deselects the roid for you. Would that be a better solution? It'd be easy to implement.

Until now I didn't know this was a problem. We certainly don't want to spoil the asteroid clearance bonus just because of a couple of people leaving roids open for whatever reason.

oh I like this idea!

9. Hey there,

I'm still having the same issue but thought I'd wait to bug ya till after the new server was up. I reinstalled EnB, added a new download of the patch and Net7 and am still receiving the following error as soon as I start up Net7: "Error on Checking Server Status: This operation is only supported on Windows 2000 SP3 or later operating systems."

Also getting errors:

- "Error on checking Server Status. This operation is only supported on Windows 2000 SP3 or later operating systems"

- "Error creating the Web proxy specified in the 'system.net/defaultProxy' configuration setting"

It's Win XP Pro v. 5.1, with Service Pack 3; Windows updates are complete, including .NET.

Again, this is my work comp.... ;)

Thank you!
