  1. This is so not an issue.  As much as players hate cherry pickers I hate those that think cherry picking is bad for the game. I tend to think its great for the game. 

     

    4. If you come across a field of ores/hulks that mostly only have a single item/junk in them guess what......they are going to re-spawn (probably in the next 10-15 minutes) so go grab a drink a wait for it.  The 'cherry picker' has actually given you a great chance at a brand new field that you wouldn't have even know was going to re-spawn unless they 'marked it' for you. You should be thanking them. ;)

     

    E&B has always been about choice so why do so many people not want to allow others the choice to play how they want?

     

    note: Please do not change re-spawn timers based on an item being looted from it.  This would create an exploit for miners to forcibly re-spawn ores/hulks simply by pulling out a single item.  This would be baaad.

    You know 4 is not happening... You are welcome to try anytime... 

     

    Heh, current respawn timers rewards offline camping. Just park your miner on top of field, put your clock on, do whatever you want meanwhile with your other toons or go sleep, spent time with family and when time comes, log your miner in, pick items, and logout again hence repeat... This is currently happening on major known hulk fields by reknown players' alts. 

     

    By changing respawn timers I meant "entire field"s respawn timer, regardless if it is completely cleaned or picked, instead of static number of hours/minutes per field, just random minutes/hours after after first pick of field between minimum & maximum respawn limits  entire field respawn... There is no exploit on that. It just breaks the clockwork campers and may be their nerves... 

  2. Regarding IE10 etc.  I can duplicate the issue and can not promise a Fix any time soon.

    I would recommend you installing Chrome or Firefox for the time-being.

    (oh yes, I am using all browser due to job requirements so does not matter to me) 

     

    How about builder issue? It happens on Chrome and all other browsers. To replicate it, you just need to "view builders" on a second search while one builder tab is open for another item.

  3. I feel more mobs should be added for this in addition to alternate NPC drop points for suits. I can only assume it wouldn't be a problem to add extra mobs in some of the above mentioned sectors, but these mobs would not make it in-game until next week.

     

    With hulk fields nerf fix , may be RD Mahjong Tiles could be added to non-RD Mechanics and Half Eaten Suits to Organics loot tables as random trash loot with their respective levels?

  4. My point was "ammo" comps aren't exclusively "ammo" comps, some of what is considered only for ammo is in some rare recipes also for things other than ammo. For building ammo as you say, as long as it's superior output ammo it makes no difference, but in the case of that comp used in a non-ammo build, you want it @200% to boost the superior chances of the item you are building. Those times you would need to have comp at 200% and the vendor build trade idea wouldn't work in that instance, but would have to be self built.

    Ammo components are exclusively ammo components.

     

    That's why they are WAY cheaper than rest of equivalent Level... Or noone would make stack of ammo price of a L9 Shield or Weapon. 

  5. The community is an important part of the game, and directly the part Uban should be looking at.

    If he wants to see whines, he will see them. On the other hand, those are just small vocal part of the community, not all even majority of it. Generalisation or stereotyping all players is a bit oversight IMO... 

  6. Actually it is CL50 (not 150) killing CL35's...

     

    By just killing L35 Chavez, I got my default RD -4000 faction to 2000+ in less than two days... So it happens...

     

    However, you are right on some cases, not many factional farm mobs, take EC for instance... L50 & L40 ones taking long time to kill due shield / hull , fastest spawning ones are L25's and numbers are few... L33's at Earth is hidden so deep that they are practically off the map...

     

    There are other ways ofcourse. Each job gives 40 faction, if miner, each asteroid cleaning job gives 100 faction per... 

     

    Not to mention half-eaten suits, there is a market for that...

  7. TE(enforcer, damn it) was never supposed to have navigate, that was something we were discussing internally. Not happenin' though.

    I like to say TW but people don't get it like old times :) Too bad, was lack places to spend of SP's compared to other warriors... 

     

    Didn't hurt to ask for it  :P

     

    How about engine fixation though? Ursa NGC 9 (which no Terran has wormhole and no Jenquai has L9 engine) has 5K speed while Terran Advantage(!) stucks at 4250, one of them is off-charts :)

  8. How hard would it be to move the 200% comps (like you do now) to your cargo, if you absolutely need the 200% comps?

    What im saying is that it would be very handy to be able to build from vault (like i remember i did in live) when you build all those ammo stacks...Especially with the PW's small cargohold.. :)

    Indeed, my L9 ammo requiring 9 different type of ores each time moving them vault to cargo and back for 3 different components really much more tougher than placing 200% stuff to front row

  9. I understand this wholeheartedly as a JE and damage should never be modified by range due to client-to-server, server-to-client differences that can cause false info from client to server or server to client. 

     

    But as I posted on other thread,

     

    Rather than changing beam damage based on range, may be items should be revisited to remove ridicilous beam ranges.  

     

    8.5K beam range without any beam range modifier? Heck missiles are barely hitting that distance with range modifiers + they are slow + each hit COST money (and at high levels, costing mining time) + requires lots of cargo space...

     

    "ANY(!)" beam -regardless where it is looted from- with range modifiers should never pass range of an avarage PL, never ever reach to range of a vendor ML of equivalent level...

     

    May be THEN beam damage should be considered full without range stat...

  10. Played since closed beta very early 2002... then public beta then picked Andromeda in release... Was co-founder of a mid-sized family-friendly guild... 

     

    Left the game around a year and a half after release... Changes made after EA sales of Westwood (right before public beta), turned game from serious space adventure to kinder garden with all shiny, glowy effects. Later with almost entire guild, I moved on to other MMO's such as SWG, EQ2, LOTRO etc. etc.

     

    Since then I was looking for similiar games to play with... Was aware of EMU news yet, did not actually checked frequent... till early december and I was in right after learning it is live :)

  11. Player Contribution - We are trying to encourage "Fan Sites" to produce this kind of player driven content, and I believe 61Cygni are already doing this.

     

    Ofcourse but no "Fan site" has complete and latest list of "items, components or anything that drops or not drops / mobs / sectors and nav points all together" (let alone spelling mistakes or search) to put notes or discuss about. That's why I suggested such addition to official item list that we search or look every day... Basically I think of it like seperate forum topics on each item, empty if nobody types in it. Only filled by players if they choose to.

     

    Solid Links - I will look in to this idea as it is something that we had looked at in the past,
    Would be lovely always  :) Direct link to one toons build list or item would be easy to bookmark/share for anybody. 

     

    Compare items - The DB Search gives you a Stats Column for comparisons, Can you please explain how you would expand this.
    For instance I have Level 8 shield and looking for Level 9 shield, I search my shield and put  a check on checkbox on one search (either session variable or cookie for 'shields' category), then I search for Level 9 shields, and put checkmarks to shields I liked , then I search for another (for instance Jenquai only L8 shields)  and pressing a "compare" button, I see all shields I picked and see and compare stats with each other. Similiar to compare two hardware on one of online store and see same stats side-by-side Recharge vs. Recharge vs. Recharge etc. as soon as I press compare on one of shields, I see picked shields and all session variables/cookies for shield category comprasion is removed (Similiar to multiquote method on boards too) which allows me to compare side by side what I will gain by changing my shield or what I will loose (effects, stats etc.) or picking between two or more shields, and comparing them side by side easier. 

     

    Search item list addition - Cant see this being a problem.

    Fixes Needed:  - I can not replicate any of the issues you listed.  Can you get me screen shots etc ?

    IE10 screen when I press on one of my toon names on the left... Even menus on top stop working when you mouse over them after...

    To replicate, I think you need to do another search over either item stat or one listed builder (which opens new tab there then when you click on builders, it shows and cleans it) -- This happens on every browser btw. May be two same "id" tags might nullify the other if a builder tab already open... 

     

    Ingame-mail - Can you not just use the Account Vault ?

    I don't like to multibox and often can't.. That's usually what I use for sending money between my characters, while vault is ofcourse superb but does not cover money part :)

     

    Game account login change - You can just create a new game account, and move avatars over to it.

    Wish I could do that for 10th account while whole 9 accounts are full :)

    Ingame accessible Portal - We are very limited in what we can do with the ingame browser as it uses HTML "Stone Age".  Its on a list to do somewhere...

    By Stone Age, it is IE6 on XP, IE7 on Vista/7/8, still can access a lot of things :)  Keeping hopes up (I often try to think them as mobile browsers, rather than get with ajax on client side javascript, I let a server-side script do all the client work to show it)

    x skill by 4.23 skill levels" then the buff will not apply to toons
    that lack the base skill


     

    However if it says "raises your critical chance by 15 percent" then thats a flat buff that will add.

     

     

    So Good Fortune and MTL should add Crits to your JE, If I read this right ;)

    Only exception is Navigate...

     

    Navigation Computer II (L7) clearly states it adds to players who does not have navigate skill...
