    Having read the thread regarding the adjustments/corrections made to beam weapons and combat cloak with interest,

    I have a question/request regarding similar changes in the future.

     

    Where changes like this are made, would it be possible to add something in the release notes in the interest of transparency and of keeping the player base informed?

    Providing this information up front may also head off some of the more heated reactions to any change.

    Well, yes and no.  From the pure development standpoint the answer is yes.  In most cases you would have a Dev team building a game, pre launch, and they have only the corporate people to answer to.  The current unique circumstances we find ourselves, after the "Live" launch, with volunteer developers, a not so robust but passionate player base that gets something dramatically affected out of the blue...

     

    It ain't just about the math then, is it?

     

    The resulting debate, Weekly Dev Meeting and the latest adjustment to damage appears to be equitable and satisfactory to most all, including me, but there was a lot of surprise and emotion, as the regular readers of the Forum can attest to.

     

    A little heads up may have avoided a bit of the surge in heated reactions.

     

    As always, I am appreciative of the people building the game, and the people playing it too

  2. Well...   I have 3 on three different toons... a PW, PP and PS that have all finished Agrippa, but to save vault space on my play toons, the tokens are parked on "vault" toons.

     

    With the current setup of 45 toons per email/account, vault space is pretty affordable ;)

    If you cannot get the Beam mission, called  "Battlefield Preparations" from Telum, I *think* the only way you can go is to talk to Beneficum Suggero in Magister Bar in Mars.  The problem is that you got your hull upgrades before doing the Stage I missions, now you must pay the penalty in credits to get a gold token so you can go back and do the mission to get the beam print.

     

    I have NOT had to do this and it is hearsay from what I have heard in chat, but is is the only path froward if you cannot get the mission from Telum.

     

    I welcome a more official suggestion from others with more experience for you Meladius Zen ;)

    Agreed.  Fixes and conclusions should be posted for others.

     

    With that in mind, be aware that your forum name and password are for the forum and Net-7 and different from your in game account name and password which you create when entering the game, or on Net-7.

  5. I see you have made 4.   Six can usually do the trick :P

     

    EDIT:  The posting minimum is to make it a little tougher for people trying to stuff the ballot box with duplicate votes from the same person, with different forum names/accounts.

     

    The Devs will check the IP of the votes cast.  In the past any duplicate IP's will get both votes removed.

  7. I have no intimate information and the devs have stated they do not get involved so I doubt they would confirm or deny anything but I know tickets have been submitted and there is still nothing. Rocket science? no. You are in Static right?

     

     

    Simply stated, I do not agree that the devs are somehow manipulating the spawns. If you believe this, that is your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it. I only stated if you have knowledge to the contrary, then you should bring that information forward.

     

    It would be a shame to continue to imply that things are happening for a specific reason when in fact they may be happening due to many other circumstances.

    I have no knowledge of any Devs manipulating the raid trigger spawns and I do not know what circumstances are involved in the triggers not respawning after a crash.

     

    I do know that the Devs have been notified about this occurrence, on at least two occasions:
