I also remember an auto-leveling feature that kept your ship at a fixed Z-axis. Nice when free warping and not ending up on the ceiling or in the basement.
Yea, how many times I hit the V key and nothing happens lol, auto-leveling is not working and needs to be fixed plz.........

It also seems to take much longer to JS then it did in live. Might be a good idea to cut the time down to half of what it is now.

I have never seen it fail but i see it summon a short distance around 20-30% of the time, so you have to do it again to get the toon near you.

As far as Holmes is concerned I did the mission with my TE today and it worked fine, he was there as soon as I landed on planet.

Looks like your running game shortcut that was originally installed with demo, run Launchernet7 shortcut, click on browse button and put
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe in there or wherever your client path is.

Correct your game path to E&B.exe, you have it to EB.ico

That was back in st4 and we did what we did cause there where like 50 peeps on and half of them where afk, this is live and nobody wants to solo a raid, stop blaming a few that multibox and make the game right so we can keep the new blood in, nobody wants to go back to them days with 100 hard cores doing the same thing day in and day out.

When ever I need a good laugh I come here and read what the DEVs have done to this game and it never fails lol
Lets see if I understand this, six strangers can form a group and go on a tour and five of them can go afk, while Joe Schmo's family has to sit there and hit the gate button, right?
Good job DEVs, stick it to them stinking families that thought a game of EnB would be a nice way to spend the evening lol

Why make a pointless post, criticising without any meaningful suggestions for improvement. How can this help anyone?
If things need tweaking they will be tweaked - but more empirical evidence from 4 raid groups is needed before making changes. I hardly think the Dev's are clueless but it's an easy name to throw around carelessly.
With 9 posts to your name you should be the last person making statements like this.

It's a 4 group encounter.
So you did a test raid and came up with the 4 group encounter with 24 peeps not using uber gear do to the fact that almost no one has any ubers and your telling us that you managed to do Gob.
I doubt it, I think your just guessing like you and other DEVs have been doing and none of you have a clue whats realy going on in this game. At the moment anything to do with combat is way out of touch with reality and most players are just killing time by doing jobs or trade runs hoping something will get fixed.
Hope you guys wake up soon before we lose all the new players we got since going live and we're back to the same old 150 hardcores...........

Yea you would think that the { del C:\Progra~1\EAGAME~1\"Earth & Beyond"\Data\client\mixfiles\*.th6} command would work but it does not! as I found out.
It seems that CMD does not like a mix of short and long file names in one command line, further more the batch file starts at c:\windows\system32 so I had to
make it like this in order to work right.
cd c:\
cd program files (x86) or cd program files for 32 bit
cd ea games
cd "earth & beyond
cd data
cd client
cd mixfiles
del *.th6I posted the batch files last week but some people can't take a joke and took the "Format Hard Drive" thing for real so the Mod took them out.
Not meaning to hijack your post but since you brought up the subject again I'll include the working files without the format JOKE :P
Dont forget to run as admin
Tested on 5 PCs, 32 and 64 bit and works fine [attachment=2294:Flush DNS and del th6.zip]

right click windows speaker icon on taskbar, not your sound cards icon if theres one, select playback devices, select the speakers or keyboard sound and make default.
fastest way i can think of, do not disable any device, sometimes its pita to enable it again
some aplications like skype or TS let you choose what device to use so you can have your speakers play music or whatever and keyb for chat

I don't know about the legal jargon of this but if people are willing to donate, why not keep the extra cash in escrow for unforeseen circumstances
or even pay a few DEVs, like Zack :) a salary, after all the money is DONATED and we are not charged a fee to play the game. Just a thought..........
