/grumble/ uninstalled the clientand reinstalled it. Got the updated Net7 proxies from the thread. Read everythign I can find. I'm going backwards. Now the client crashes after it validates the password. I'm pretty sure it dies trying to play the sound/graphic for the hand print scan, probably because EB config doesn't seem to be saving values. Despite running it, the client doesn't use the saved display values. I assume it's a sound issue, since sound driver issues ofter are crash bugs. At six hours of wasted time on the install, I think I'm done.

Hi! Tying to play for the first time. I have (I believe) successfully installed everyting, but can't actually get into the game. I can launch Net7, get into the client, log in and even create characters. However, when I try to play it hits the 'galaxy map' screen and just sits there. My room mate (same network and network settings) can get in fine. Any ideas? (I'm on Win7, I am running as Admin)
