FYI still an issue. checked compatibility and its ok (running in win XP compatibility on vista machine) reloaded ini files and no help. 8/24/11

Having the exact same problem. Ever since the last patch update I have to reset updates anytime I want to run the game. Gets a little irratating with the workaround and then have to go a setup controls everytime. Suprised not alot of posts on this problem.
