It's the best I have seen yet. If you've found a better way than what I'm describing here please share =). I have combed through forum threads on many different sites for months trying to find out why my Netgear router WNR3500 was losing 50% of my internet connection speed through wireless devices connected to the network. After messing around with different settings, updating firmware to the latest version, even trying Tomato firmware, turning WMM off, and changing QoS settings. I finally managed to achieve 90% of my full internet speed, without using tomato firmware, and just using the firmware that came with the router (updated of course). I used http://www.speedtest.net to check the speed each time I changed a setting. When the router was set to Setup>Wireless Settings> Mode: 54 Mbps, and 300 Mbps I was getting only 50% of my total download speed. As soon as I changed the setting to 145 Mbps I was getting about 90% of my download speed. Hope this helps others who are having the same problem.
