This is on a fresh windows install with nothing but E&B and net7. I'll try the reinstall I guess.

If it's not one thing it's another. Hopefully this problem is a little easier than my last one. After doing the newbie missions I got a tow from the mechanic, but the game crashed before anything else happened. Now whenever I try and load that character it just crashes to desktop straight away. Edit - sorry about the topic being unrelated, i started typing this about something else. I've tried making another character and I can't get past the loading screen now :/

I got a bit too annoyed and fixed this by reinstalling the OS. Thanks for the help anyway.

Nope - though I did go to internet options in the control panel and have a look at the certificates - all the ones that appeared there were expired 2007/2008. I don't know if that matters. No dice I'm afraid - still inv-300 but some new text on the proxy about connecting to an authentication server and a "thread closed gracefully".

Hi everyone new to the board, enjoyed E&B a lot back in the day very happy to see it resurrected. I'd be happier if I could sort out my login issues. It's an inv-300 error when I try and login. I've activated a stress test account. Updated E&B Updated Net7 Tried changing the host to the IP address in the Net7 client. Changed my hosts file to include the IP addresses. Deactivated firewalls and antiviruses. I then tried checking the certificate - and it said it wasn't installed or valid. I clicked install, then ok and not much seemed to happen. I checked the certificate again, and again it said it wasn't installed or valid. Any other ways I can try and install the certificate? I assume it's kinda necessary. The proxy running never says anything about the login attempts in the text window. Kinda stumped, any ideas?
