i tried all the compatibilty from win98 right through the windows server or nt and 2000 still got same problem it seems the client just crashes... i saw there is a modified client floating about i think Tienbau has it if anyone has a copy could they PM me the details please either that or am going to format and reinstall vista hehehe yes am that serious about playing this game

am running vista sp1 is there a way to egt windows xp sp3 on the compatabilty list

Hi all ok here is my problem when i select my toon and login it hangs on the next screen with the map ... task manager then tells me earth and beyond is not responding when i close it down windows pops up saying "main is not responding" so thinnking its something to do with client but very unsure as i have tried alot of things to help sort this out ie.. uninstalling and reinstalling, turning on UAC and reinstalling, changing the compatability on several .exe's, changing resoulution ... also i have recently installed everything on 3 different computers yesterday and everything working fine i can even log onto my toons on these machines but its my own computer i want to play on... i am pretty stuck on this one i used to play it on this system back when it was stress beta 3 so i know it works on my system but since the updates there may be something conflicting with my system now Any ideas would be helpful i did see a dev saying he has a modified client i would like to try that if someone has it... also the cmd prompt that appears the last line says "MVAS thread running" and nothing else after that which am sure there would be if i actually got in thanks in advance DarK__Solo xxx

hi all am having the same problem i recently signed up my 2 brothers to the game and i got all the files installed on there computers setup everything and works great came home sorted out everything on my laptop so can play in bed (easy now) and works great but put on my own computer and login get to select characters select my main login and sits on the map/loading screen and goes to not responding when i close it down via task manager and it says main closed down... also the cmd prompt that comes up the last line says mvar... nothing else after that unlike my laptop so not sure if its hanging.... i have tried several time to reintsalling turning on uac turning it off putting on compatibilty on the client always run things as admin just can not sort this problem out even tried all the change resoultion.... only thing i like to try is this new/modified client see if that helps tia all DarK__Solo
