OK, now you've really just described expanded vault space - with apparently no limit.
Not quite. I am sure some type of system could be set up so that things didn't just sit there forever. That and the way I worded it, when you go to pick up at the NPC you don't get to pick and choose what you get, you get everything they have for you, all at once. If you don't have empty cargo space for it, it would go poof.

6 stacks of ammo isn't going to do much for most non-ammo building chars. My PW (non-ammo building by choice) routinely burns through dozens of stacks in an hours worth of combat. My TT typically builds/xfers to him in lots of 40+.

The limit of six is only so they can use the existing trade window. I suggest there would not be a limit to how many times you can have the NPC hold stuff for another toon. Since they cannot recode the client, the trade window may not be changeable, so we may have to work with what is already there.

What I mean is Toon A can go to the NPC, tell them they have stuff for Toon B, trade 6 off, then do it again, and keep repeating until they have it all sent. Then when Toon B comes in they get the message, go to the station and NPC, and get it all.
3. I had a thought last night, (sorry if this has been suggested before I didn't find it) to make certain things easier for those of us using not so good computers. How about an NPC standing somewhere in the lobby or lounge of stations (not even all stations, maybe one per system, or one at each race's main locations).

This NPC, when you talk to them, asks you who you want something held for. You enter the character name you have something for. Then it opens a trade window allowing you to select up to 6 items or stacks to be held for that other toon. Then when you confirm it, the items whisk away to an NPC vault tagged for that character to retrieve.

Then when the toon the items are for logs in, the NPC can message them (I would suggest the message button like the push missions) that they have items waiting for them on X station. When they get to the NPC, they can retrieve the items from the NPC.

This would help relieve the ammo pain the TS and PS feel, as the builder toon for them can mule the ammo to them without having to lag up a PC by multi-boxing. I know when I multi-box my PC all but locks up for 5 minutes, and it takes me almost an hour to mule a decent supply (30-42 stacks) of ammo to my TS. In addition this could also be a credit sink to help improve the economy of the game. Have the NPC change a fee to hold the items, and/or a few to retrieve them.

Clarification: I don't think anyone has said that TS or PS need to have Build Weapons, but rather some form of Build Ammo.

And since that's been kicked around before and shot down, I'd like to see a compromise of having ammo vendors placed in strategic stations around the galaxy. They'd only carry 101% ammo*, but they'd carry ammo for a much wider variety of weapons (e.g. RD weapons, proto weapons, weapons outside of the station's race). That would let PS and TS use their racial weapons without having to track down an ammo builder every hour.

* 101% so you couldn't get all the ammo prints just by visiting a ammo vendor.
Aye a build ammo skill would be a great compromise, as would ammo vendors. Right now I can burn through most of a hold full in an hour while hunting.
5. I disagree with the Scout having no ability to make their own ammo. Being a Terran they are automatically going to have bonuses for missile use, but having someone else (or muling ammo from your own toon) is a pain in the you know what.

Perhaps a low level build weapons to allow for some of the more common missile types? Or maybe there can be a separate build ammo skill somewhere?

If only I was stateside, I'd post this, photos from the Fan Gathering in San Jose and all the TShirts I won for answering the DEV questions lol. 5 Shirts in total (still have) Big Orange Tada-O, GetCO, White EnB Shirt, 2 Black Fan Gathering ones.

Original Game, Prima guide.... Yup oh... And photos from the visit to EA in San Jose  thanks to some insider networking :D

You have got to post pics of those shirts when you get the chance. I am dying to see em.

You should have told me in game. I typically have the opposite effect. I'm a natural born thread kuller.

You too? I have found myself to be a full fledged thread reaver.
8. The underlying issue is not the amount of credits in circulation, it simply put, is the lack of things in game to spend them on.

If you do a credit wipe, the high level players will have their fortunes back within a week tops, and the low level players will lose what they have struggled to get so far. If you do a player wipe it will reset everything to the beginning, but not eliminate the issue which caused the amount of credits to begin with.

What is needed, is in-game items which will require a large outlay of credits to get/maintain. Or in game services which will require some type of upkeep fee. Some suggestions I can make on this (not sure if all are currently even possible, but these were discussed in live and the DEVs back then seemed to think at least some of this would be possible).

1) Player rental selling kiosks in the merchant space of a station. Have an empty kiosk in the bazaar which a player could rent for an hour to sell their wares.

2) Allow guilds to rent a meeting hall on a station for a high cost.

3) Make "homes" on the stations that players can rent on a weekly or monthly basis. This could have a list of people allowed to come in, and be a private chat space for those in it.

4) New items/outfits for avatars. Some examples (besides basic new clothes) sidearms for our avatars (we are supposedly mostly military), new tattoos, more hair styles, etc (sky is the limit).

There are many more items, and services that could be offered, and this is by no means a complete list of possibilities.
9. On the net-7.org site I cannot change to my other accounts to access the sig-refresh features for my toons on those account. Perhaps there would be a way to lump all the toons from the three allowed accounts under the one "parent" log in?
10. Right now you can search out gear and comps by all sorts of methods, how about a way to look at an individual toons build list (even if you limit it only to the toons of the logged in account)? I would like to be able to easily see and print out a list of what my own toons can make.
11. Not really related to the original request, but I don't want to clutter the forums too badly. Back in live someone was making little videos of Tada-O ads (it was a player, that I remember). Does anyone know where those can be found now, if at all?
