1. I changed it to non-tradeable to stop the exploit. I originally intended it to be tradeable and the mission was supposed to take the item upon starting the mission but for some reason it wasn't doing that. If I can get the mission to take the item at the beginning of the mission I will revert the item to being tradeable. We can consider this a bug but it's not a very high priority right now.
2. I don't think the issue is important enough to warrant reading this entire topic but here's my thoughts about the earlier part of the conversation.

in order to make it only printable by JS we would have to change part of the code. Doing so wouldn't be worth the effort. The mission to get the blueprint is JS only. Terrans can print every other crystal altar item.

I suppose I could make the gray dragonfly progen restricted but I wanted the progens to feel included in the new content. The Gray items are not made by nishido so the manufacturers can restrict it however they want.

3. Terran Enforcer is the best ranged DPS in the game. It's very fast, has extremely long range and does lots of damage but isn't very versatile. Mostly a pure killer, the TE is very good at keeping enemies at range and killing them quickly.

if you want decent ranged DPS, healing, and building, check out the Terran Tradesman
if you want decent ranged DPS, even more speed, and mining, check out the Terran Scout
4. I understand where you're coming from hypnos, but if your guild isn't big enough to do the mordana raid, just grab a few non-guildmates to fill in the gaps. I'm not making the mordana raid harder because I want to favor larger guilds, I'm making it harder because it's too easy and the "rare" items are flooding the market. There is no rotation for the mordana raid because the respawn timer is so quick therefore small guilds should have no problem doing this raid. Just have a few non-guildmates tag along and you will do fine.

I believe everything has been said that needed to be said so I will now close this topic.
5. This is one of the only raids with a quick enough respawn timer to prevent large guilds from controlling the spawns. It should still only be one group but this change is to prevent it from being a cakewalk. 33% more damage was my original idea but I ended up increasing the DPS by less than 20% and also upping the shield and hull capacity.
6. it crashed an hour or so after our test so it probably happened for some other reason. Sure we were planning on having another test but I had slain the mobs we used and we were just in the process of gathering a couple of groups. Hopefully it wasn't our fault!
on the plus side it allows me to tweak the raid.
7. I've been having a problem with my vista laptop launching EnB.
When I run the launcher I get a .NET framework unhandled exception saying the Configuration system failed to initialize.
here's the exception text:

the launcher then appears and I can get the patch notes but all the boxes are grayed out and it won't let me reset updates. Any ideas? The launcher and enb.exe are in compatibility mode XP service pack 2 and in admin. UAC is turned off. This happened after a fresh install.
8. I believe the lag was caused by all the firing effects. I reduced the number of weapons the mobs had which should reduce some of the lag but there's only so much we can do. There will be another test of this raid soon with increased mob damage which should also help us see if the lag reduced at all.
9. Happy Fourth of July from the EnB staff!

As I speak the play server is being restarted for event preparations.

Instead of displaying the firework effects like we've done in the past, we decided it would be more interesting and helpful for us to let the players participate in an event. In celebration we will be spawning a raid that needs testing (no loot, sorry) and you will help celebrate the fourth by lighting up the universe with your distress beacons. The raid will occur several times today and will be announced in game.

This will be very helpful by letting us test a raid and should be some good fun. Bring your game face and expect some exp debt! If you miss out on this raid test don't worry. You will have plenty of opportunities to do it in the future.

Thank you,

I was told the login server would restart itself, except when they have Debug running, it prevents the restart. Too bad people aren't trusted enough in the team to be able to deal with issues like this.

It's not a matter of trust. I'm not a computer programmer so I would have no idea what I'm doing. It's up to tienbau, david, rolo or one of the other code savvy developers to fix a problem like this.
