    I voted no also, and agree with most points Lot made.

    The fun part is that you can't beat the game alone... you need help.

    I belive this is a great idea, but would like to see it be a complicated thing, involving a mission and perhaps a quest taking you far far away, to chase down an obscure part that will "modify" the device making it untradable. Also, why not allow the quality to go to 200%? Just make the quest that much more difficult. It would also increase that credit sink that Lot was talking about.

    Any which way you look at it, I am happy to donate a little each month to play a game that used to cost me $14.95 a month to the Evil Ampire. I think that the dev team has an excellent motive in keeping us happy and providing a much needed outlet for those of us that don't want to invest the time to learning a different game.
    After sunset, I tried several ... nothing came close to the fun I had playing E&B and I am extremely happy I stumbled back on the project.

    Now, off to paypal to make this months donation. Pony up folks, let's keep this project alive!

    I remember you, and good to see you. I forgot about Starz he is running around- Ive seen the name. I am learning to be part of the Vaden-Mart system so you have competition on the builders side. Enjoy, shoot me a message ingame.

    Ok, honestly, I didnt go all the way thru Will's huge reply above... I may have missed this.
    I have noticed on the Sumpter Lv8 shield (only when I am currently buffed with a steingard 6) that the shield recharge does not work properly. It blinks three times and goes away. (I know its only for 10 seconds but on a countoff that is about 3 seconds)

    I have always been of the opinion that MMORPG's are really about the 'social' aspect of gaming. focusing on the synergy of partering up with others and supporting each other. If someone is being a 'social outcast' and not working with others, they should accept the additional burden of having to work harder. - just sayin'

    I am aware that my position on this matter may offend a few solists, but hey... there are plenty of off line games you can play solo, why bother with a mmorpg if you want to do everything by yourself?

    lol, so close flew around for 1 min

    This is the fun part of working in a beta situation... New content always causes minor issues like downtime. Just wish it want tonight... :)

    I worked on "Wife" faction all week to get her back into the blue so I could play and boom. down goes the server... :huh:

    Guess it's just my 'zen' karma

    The server problems as far as basic functionality is concerned are corrected. The patching system is mostly up now for the client, and should be up soon for the Net7 files. I've put a placeholder in for the patchnotes so you don't need an error message. You should be able to connect to the play server normally.

    Your hosts file does not need to be edited anymore, so that isn't a concern.

    Are people having trouble connecting?

    Not having problems at the moment, will double check when I get home to be absolutely sure. I am sure the direct IP connect will work fine unless they change the static IP address with the DNS change. Keeping an eye on the facebook page, that was how I found the fix.

    One suggestion is a backup server for the communicaiton between beta players and the Dev crew. If we have another similar circumstance that knocks Net7 site and the forum down, we need a way to connect with those that know how to access the game. It was really frustrating seeing that 120 people were on the server but not being able to connect because I had unchecked the Local Auth box on Net7
