1. I have a seeker, but when I got the build skill it was just as they put it in and before they actually made it a mission, I went back several months later looking for any missions I may have missed and did the Craxel Liver mission, could be wrong but I believe I found the Craxels near the moon behind the station (forgive me if I'm wrong, but the memory's not what it used to be, lol) Took a few kills to get it so be patient :)
2. finances have been tight past couple months, I'm still unemployed but donating plasma (unfortunately $60 a week doesn't even cover the gas I'm using driving my roommate back and forth to work) but roomie's getting a car and his license reinstated so I'll be able to donate more often very shortly :)
3. I'm sure you've noticed by now that I've been a little less active than usual these past couple weeks. This will probably continue for a while, it's not that I'm disheartened with the game or anyone in the guild, I'm just BORED! I've logged in a few times and just sat there wondering what I want to do, then when I come up with an idea it usually involves logging to another character, I switch, do whatever, and get bored again. I'll check in once in a while to see how everyone's doing, but for the current foreseeable future I should be viewed as an inactive member.

Take care, and fly safe out there! Fishies want to eat you!
4. I don't know if it's possible, but how about if the price goes up/down for that particular player after doing so the same trade run x amount of times instead of server wide so it doesn't screw over other people doing that trade run?

Otherwise I'd say if something ain't broke don't fix it, the potential to screw over other players could get out of hand (people could form trade run groups, all grab the same item, get to their destination and *boom* price decline for anyone not in their group) which could lead to people getting dissatisfied with the game and leaving

we are changing the JT from having level 9 engines to having level 9 devices
Having level 9 devices makes a bit more sense since level 9 devices is a Jenquai trait plus it gives us much more to work with in terms of helping the JT find its place.

this is not meant to be read as a complaint, I understand that this is a stress test and all that, but I just thought I'd point out, when this was done I lost the dot I had in engines and gained a hole in devices. I took pride in the fact that I had almost all my skills maxed, now I've lost 8 skill points (or "levels" after 150).

Also the lvl 9 engine I had installed before this change was implemented is still in there so as long as I don't change it out theoretically it'd be as if I'm having lvl 9 engines AND lvl 9 devices. I'm sure there are some who'd take advantage of that, but I'm looking for a lvl 8 engine so as not to be a cheater ;)

My suggestion for new wormhole locations for the scout:
Adriel Prime
Odin Rex
Pluto and Charon
Inverness
Kitara's Veil
Grissom
Muspelheim
I don't know if you had any particular reasoning for these locations, but if we were to use the JE's wormhole ability as a model the second wh location would be Earth (since JE's second goes to Jup, Jenquai homeworld the TS would be going to Terran homeworld), beyond that I don't know the original developers reasoning for locations (SE could be because that's where the only other Live Jenquai class was based?, maybe VT was because it's a Jenquai station way out there with decent ore fields, and I honestly see no logical reason for ABB, Carp or Endriago, but we have them, so there! ;)). I DO like your KV idea, however Inverness and Grissom might be a little too close together, considering there's a Carp wh already that would give 3 locations in a relatively small area. I'd suggest maybe keeping Inverness (or possibly even changing that to Arduinne just to add a little more distance to a "competing" wormhole).

I'm sure some JE's would complain that this would be another phasing out the usefulness of the Explorer, but quite frankly I would like to see more wh locations even if it IS a Terran that has the ability. Now the question is are the DEVs willing and able to do this (they may have something else on the board)? Would they have to call it something else (if the skill named create wormhole is locked to the current wefts they might have to find an alternate name for the skill)?

When you did the calculation for the JT did you take into account that reactor optimization isn't included in the planner? Total skill points required to max a JT is 379
you're right I did miss that, thanks for pointing that out.
8. Out of sheer curiosity I started playing with the character planner on Net-7.org

JE, JD, and TT require 412 skill points to max every skill out, that's lvl 150 + 136 skill points (so using the 136 "extra skill points" as a standard, I did a little research on who's missing out)
JT maxes out everything with 54 skill points left
TS maxes out everything with 44 skill points left
PP maxes out everything with 36 skill points left
PS maxes out everything with 15 skill points left
TE maxes out everything with 15 skill points left
PW maxes out everything with 01 skill points left

Obviously the new character classes are missing out the most, I know the DEVs have Afterburner on the menu for the TS (which even if that went to lvl 9 would leave 7 skill points unused, but 7's not as bad as 44). I don't know if DEVs have anything on the board for JT or PP yet or not.

I know whatever the DEVs do there's no pleasing everyone, but I am curious if the JE, JD and TT had all those skill slots in Live. It just seems they would have to work the hardest to fill everything, assuming a player WANTED to fill everything.

Yes, I was bored when I did this, but would like to know what other players think of this information.
9. I chose the JS. In Live my main was a JD, but now... my JD is probably my least played character. Yesterday I was able to take on a CL 60 drone in BBW with more than 8 times my hull+shield and managed to keep my shields up and kill it without a single scratch on my paint job, maybe my play style's changed since Live but imo the JS really kicks some tail. I admit being able to keep your shields up probably isn't new to experienced TT players from Live but for someone who played strictly Jenquai having the hidden classes really changed the rules of the ball game for me :(

GMs having the ability to inflict silence would be darned useful, but otherwise the player should individually be able to ignore. I see potential problems with the community vote silence stuff. Course, that's possibly just an excessive fear but I expect it could lead to more problems than it corrects if not implemented very very carefully.
I'd have to agree with Kyp on this, giving players a /silence command and having others vote on it could cause several problems (ie: Player A mistells x word when (s)he dies in a raid, Player B snaps a /silence before they even have a chance to apologize and has multiple accounts to add votes leaving Player A unable to even ask guild or group for jumpstart, OR Player A feels slighted by Player B in some way or another and has multiple accounts and nothing better to do than keep Player B silenced for a long time). I think ignore and/or screenshots should continue to be the standard operating procedure. Give all players a little extra power and some will find ways of abusing it.
11. while I like the idea of having my JE on a second account I'm also patient enough to know that there WILL be a wipe eventually (whenever we go to the next phase) and I'll be able to have my JT and JE running around together then. If a toon transfer becomes available before that will I take advantage of the opportunity? you bet! but if not, oh well, lol
12. As of this moment I haven't voted yet. I built my builder toons to supply my other characters and if I happen to see someone on Market channel needs something I know I can build I'll do it for them. My main toon is 150+ and has a mere 30 million, sure there's ways to make credits (grinding, mining, yada yada yada), but I've found, for me at least, that spending hours and hours on making credits just to spend it in a few seconds takes the fun out of the game. I play to experience the game itself, I don't charge for builds and probably never will, but if someone wishes to tip or manages to ask me what the button cost of the build is while I'm at the terminal I won't refuse.

I don't keep track of what's rare, what's valuable or what the "going price" for x item is, and would never know what to charge for said item. Therefore if I have something I know someone needs (regardless of if their a guild member or not) I give it to them. I don't expect everyone to play like me, even when we progress to another stage I'll probably continue to give things away, sue me! lol

Back to the subject at hand: A credit wipe would probably hurt me, but it wouldn't take me extremely long to get back to where I once was. So I guess my vote goes to: I think it is an idea worth considering, but not quite yet
13. First off I want to say, thank you for bringing this class in! I played strictly Jenquai in Live simply because I loved the cloak ability :P. Nowadays I DO have a TT, but she's mainly a shield builder for my Jenquai toons.

I'm perfectly fine playing my JT as is, but if I were to change ONE thing it'd be this: the other Jenquai classes have ways to get people out of the fishbowl (JD with max summon has Return to Base and any JE worth their salt has wh), how I would do it would be to take Fold Space 6 & 7 from the JD, convert lvl 7 to push group members out of the sector (to safety) and give that to the JT. I don't know what you'd have to take away (if anything) to create a balance, as it stands the only skill I DON'T have maxed out and DON'T use is Projectiles but I'm sure others find it useful. I DO know, however, that I'd never trade max Reactor Optimization for anything :)
14. don't know if someone managed to log into my character or not, but it seemed as if I had no control over destination or warping. Was typing in chat to guild and next thing I know I spun around and started warping in Odin Rex, there was absolutely no way my typing could have chosen the destination The Path from Gate to Odin's Belt, and I know I didn't hit q while typing to engage warp. after warp was engaged I CTD and haven't been able to get back in so I don't know what's going on now.
15. IF I can manage to get in I get about 10 seconds of game play (if that) and CTD again, have tried with Local Cert, without it, have tried with and without packet optimization and with/without Prototype Reorder, cannot seem to get in and stay in

hmm, the problem just 'went away'.

Before it did, I managed to gather enough data to work out what it might be though.

One question - when you are unable to log in, is the char that's stuck mostly on stations?
I always dock before logging off, and am now stuck with all my toons. Don't know if that helps you in anyway TB
17. the only loot only thing I have atm is lvl 8 Proto shield at 146%, so setting back to 125% or even 100% won't affect ME a great deal. But I do have a question, since they're loot only and non-manufacturable (thereby if it gets damaged not able to get back to 100%) is it possible to make 100% their minimum quality, kind of indestructable? Or would that unbalance things too?

18. I voted I'm just happy to be playing again because even in Live I tried to be a generous person, sure if I spent millions on parts & then had to build something I wanted some compensation. AND I know that not everyone played like me, I wouldn't expect them to, that's the beauty of online games: everyone bringing their own unique personalities and somehow everyone seems to get their fair share of enjoyment out of the game. I'll say this now and as long as I'm playing, if I have the recipe and you bring me the parts then the button click is free, any tips will not be turned down but they're not expected

As far as racial competition goes, I think the reason there's so much about the Gate War (or was it Wars, plural?) in the game, Live and now, is to actually teach us what CAN happen if we allow tensions to grow. As George Santayana said: "Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

I will admit, however, to only playing the "tissue paper hulled" Jenquai, but that's only because the Jenquai seem to fit my play style best (cloak & dagger), but I hold no animosity towards Terrans and Progen.
