    I too, have been less and less excited about playing. Not sure if it is only the faction issue, but that is right up there. The mobs that you can kill for +10 RD faction each (this may have changed) are behind a RD factioned gate. :)

    For me its largely the faction issue, its way too tedious and the faction gained when your by yourself is very little to none at the present moment, I just hope it gets tweaked in the future so I can have a bigger urge to come in and bust some more bugs.

    Person with the most damage on the mob gets the faction hit/gain. Grouping doesn't do anything, and there's no sharing of faction like there is with xp.

    That pretty much makes having friends to go grinding rep useless which is probably why I haven't really played E&B much in the last 2 days.

    To clarify, are faction points shared amongst group members or does only the member that gets the kill get the faction? I was asked to group with someone in Ragnarok to share the Chavez there. During our time, he said he didn't think he was getting faction for kills I got while we were grouped. We were targeting different mobs to maximize our kills. With so many players grinding Chavez for faction, this is going to occur quite often. The alternative will be competing for targets and more hard feelings :D

    I noticed this too when I was grinding some chavez with someone a couple of days ago, I wasn't getting any for the kills that they got which was most of what we were out doing.

    Notice how I said it was a week ago >.>, I can take on ones much higher now, the jotunheim ones don't offer much combat experience for me anymore, i can take one ones in the 20-23 range at least now but I have not ran into very many of those yet.

    I totally agree this faction grind is starting to get really tedious. I am begining to think its not really worth the grind and may just stop grinding it all together. Currently my PS has about 7900 RD rep to gain before being in the positive, at that kind of deficit its not really worth my sanity to kill millions of chavez and especially when there is a higher level or 2 lurking around with the ones you can kill like in my situation about a week ago I was killing some CL15 ish chavez and out came a level 30 one whom one shotted me and being that I was out of reactor energy I couldnt jumpstart myself so I had to take a tow and being how certain individuals have been within the game now I didn't bother asking for one.

    Just remember what I said though it will most likely still have the other sounds from the video in it unless C Del will be using some professional editing software like Adobe Audition to tweak out some of the sounds.

    If you like this, you may also like killing the Jenquai Day Care Shuttle in ABG. If you kill it, it drops apple juice and baby jenquai bones... Fun for the whole Progen family.

    I haven't seen it there yet and i've been through there many times, but I will keep an extra sharp eye out for it :-)

    k - thanks! Did the game carry on running or did it freeze or CTD/CTM ?

    It didn't completely hangup on me but it looked like the server had crashed kind of hangup. I watched the person I was buffing and they were just spinning in circles and I couldnt do anything else so I was like wtf and thats when I tabbed out and saw the opcode error.

    Yes there was all 3 race heads and body parts...hearts and heads was most ..but there would be other parts.all the way to L9. The body ripper type mobs almost always dropped some bio part with each kill. They also had a higher level drop of gene maps (of which people had the PS turn in at the gene repository for fairly good to excellent reward), there was even a mission line were a npc wanted you to get hearts and heads of various races for them to test.

    where is the gene repository?

    Thats the part im having the problem with. when i register on www.net-7.org i get a message saying "forum user not found. User not added."

    In one of the boxes about halfway down you have to put your forum name which would be ''Ka'tarn". it should be the 4th box down, the first box is what you would use for a username to login to the game with.

    or in many cases, minimize, and unable to get it up again.

    There could be something you have running that is causing the game to minimize upon start up. I have Win 7 x64 on my laptop and at least from what I remember haven't had it happen yet but I did minimize on purpose right before a load screen in game when gating and in those cases it takes a minute or 2 to let me bring the game back up. Might want to try waiting a little longer and try to bring the game back up again. Also when it minimizes check the task manager to see if the game it locked up or not, odds are it won't be and that it will take a minute or two before it will let you bring the game back up again.

    looks like my device build bug is still bugging (build list fails to load, CTD's me religiously)

    FYI the item caching feature hasn't been turned on on the play server yet. Tienbau meantioned in another thread somewhere that it would be turned on sometimes within the next week.
