what item are you searching for? Just now did default search to 'rifle' and it worked.
It doesn't matter what I search for. It doesn't complete a search, for anything. I've tried using both my laptop and desktop, but it does nothing. I had a friend over who plays, but he was able to complete a search on his laptop.
As previously stated... "it just keeps spinning as if it's searching, but never provides me any results. The page also locks up completely making all tabs, buttons etc inaccessible. In order to do anything else on the site, I have to refresh the page and start over."

When I attempt to search the Database, it just keeps spinning as if it's searching, but never provides me any results. The page also locks up completely making all tabs, buttons etc inaccessible. In order to do anything else on the site, I have to refresh the page and start over.
Please help, as relying as it is impossible to plan for future upgrades.

To change the client block just hit the browse button on the launcher window, upper right corner, and look for client.exe in the EnB /release folder.
Mine is here : C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe
The ip's are in a dropdown right there. If yours is not in the list I dont know what to tell you.
Maybe someone else knows.
My actual IP is NOT listed.
I changed the "client block" and the game did load!
THANKS!!

I still need to know how to correct the IP. It reads 10.0.0.6 which is NOT my IP address. From what I was able to find out, it "may" be a generic router address, not that this means anything to me.
I also need to know how to correct the "client block" which points to "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Downloaded Installers\{65C92136-6AF0-4E70-88D2-D19E739CE285}\setup.msi."

Sorry for the Delay I was at work and couldn't look up the answer to your question.
on the net -7 launcher look to the right side you will see local IP mine reads "192.168.1.76" yours should read similar format wise, th the last numbers may be different.
also check to make sure the the client block is pointing the enb client.exe file, should read something like: "c:\program files (x86)\ea games\Earth & Beyound\release\Client.exe"
The IP IS completely different from mine, but there is no obvious way to change it. Please explain how.
The client block is also off. It's pointing to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Downloaded Installers\{65C92136-6AF0-4E70-88D2-D19E739CE285}\setup.msi. How do I fix this as well?
Screw it. I'm going to uninstall everything and start from scratch. If that doesn't work, I'll post an update.
UPDATE:
IT RE-INSTALLED IN EXACTLY THE SAME MANNER.

Check your local ip address to make sure it'd correct. I had to reset mine after this patch friday
That looks like it could be the issue. How do you reset it?
Anyone????

OK, I just reinstalled everything after a long break and a hard drive disaster.
When I click on "PLAY" in the launcher, nothing happens. The Launcher window closes as if it is getting ready to load the game login page, but nothing loads. The only open process is net7proxy.net, but it just closes on its own after a few moments.
I have successfully installed both the Earth & Beyond Client & Net-7 Unified Installer, and run all updates.
How can this be fixed?

Any advice at all?

I had to re-install the game. Everything has been downloaded and applied, but now when I launch the client, the system won't search for updates. the error message reads...
Error launching client
Details: Wrong AuthLogin.dll version
Your version: 3.3.0.2
Required version: 3.3.0.6
I have already downloaded and installed the latest patch (twice to be safe) and got the message that I was up to date.

i didnt read previous posts in this thread and just tossing out an idea... did you try running enb config and checking the box that says "windowed mode"?
also are there any other games that you play that you can run just as a test to eliminate video problems (and I dont mean solitaire )?
Well, I don't have any problem running Starcraft or Civ games.
I tried the windowed mode and got in! YES!!!!! After this many years...
I'm BAAAACCCKKK!!!!
Thanks for all of the help and keep up the GREAT work with the game!!!

I was part of the group on Orion that was the first to complete the Fishbowl years ago.
We used a medivac method. Each group had a TT, JD, and a JE, with 3 other DPS. Each raid tended to about 4-5 groups. The support portion of each group would situate themselves at equidistant points around the sector's center, then the warriors would hold the mobs in the middle, for the most part. JDs would provide cover for the TTs as needed.
How it worked was rather straight forward, as the DPS got incapped, a JE would sneak up to em, decloak, jumper them, and recloak. The JD would fold the recently revived DPS back to the groups field hospital, and rep him up. The DPS would then return to the fight.
Provided your field hospital groups can get rid of the occasional mob themselves, you can easily keep the entire raid alive right through to the end.
The real weak point is the JEs. If they start getting incapped, your entire medivac system begins to break down, so jumper priority is: JEs, JDs, DPS, TT.
WOW!!! This brings back memories. The FB was utter chaos especially when we had a few people in there for the 1st time or 2. I usually played the JD and prided myself on my ability to fold just prior to disable. Good times and great loot!

Can you post a log or screenshot of what the net7proxy window says when the client locks up? Try updating your graphics drivers, if you haven't already, then go to your Earth & Beyond installation folder (Default: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond"), go into the "EBCONFIG" folder, and run "E&BConfig.exe". When the E&B Config tool starts, set the resolution slider to a standard value, like 1024 x 768, run the Performance Test, and click "OK". Then try starting EnB again.
Ran E&BConfig.exe > set resolution slider as recommended. > Tried re-starting.
same results > got to log in screen and entire computer locked up, not just the client. I could move the cursor w/the mouse, but nothing else. Had to do a manual restart of the computer. Because of the complete lock up, I can't provide a screen shot or logs.

Are you using Windows Vista or 7? If so, are you running "client.exe" (Earth & Beyond) in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2?
Still running the old Windows XP w/SP3.

Your account appears to already be activated. Are you still unable to log in?
Correct. I've installed, twice just to make sure. Unfortunately I got the same results both times. I assumed that we would be logging into the game through Net7 & tried that 1st. The game loads to the username/password screen but completely locks up my computer when I click next. I also tried logging in through the old EnB short cut. It was unable to find the patch server. I'm guessing the EnB shortcut is a left over from when EA still actively ran the game.
Any suggestions? It's probably one of those, dumb user error issues. lol
edit: I also tried following the instructions to unlock the additional classes, but it didn't work either time. Probably more "user error".

I don't think I got my activation emails either. (same name in-game)
Thanks in advance!
