    I just want to say, that I have NEVER had a problem with job terminals, no matter which level job I have gone after, I have always been able to get 6 jobs within a reasonable time frame, & even get the ones all for the same place. So I don't understand why everyone bitches about this, I play at all different times of the day/night & nine times out of ten there isn't even anyone else at the job terminals. Just my two cents worth.

    I have this mission on my PP (Silverrose) I have been trying to do it for 4 days.

     

    was told to go to the ateroids behind Endraigo Planet to find Renegade Progen Centurions, I have checked the area, gone to the outer edges of the map, and found NO Centurions: found a level 33 comet, some renegade progen discerns, equis, etc.  I have tried different time periods, but still cannot find the centurions.

     

    I am becoming very frustrated, but would really like to finish the mission, as doing jobs all the time is very boring, I enjoy looking for missions to do, but to be honest a lot of the progen missions have similar problems, can't find the mob, can't find the ores, can't find the NPC, etc. it's bad enough that most of the missions take you all across the universe to complete, but when you can't find anything where it is suppose to be, it becomes very annoying.

     

    Just an FYI; I READ all the chat from the NPCs, & make notes, to try to make it easier, but in this case the notes donot help, because the mobs are not where they are suppose to be.

     

    end rant, but would appreciate any advice.

    I have an opinion on this also:  most of the time new player chat is used for that, helping new players, BUT sometimes people, for one reason or another prefer to make jokes, answer a question with a smart ass remark, etc.  that's all well & fine, BUT again, it gets out of control & the poor new player sometimes does not get the correct answer because the original question was lost in the smart ass remark.  Personally it annoys the hell out of me, when I see a NEW player, someone who never played the game before, trying to get information & can't do so, because some one thinks they are a wise guy.  and sometimes the wise guys get carried away & start using foul language, or start arguments about who knows best what is right for a new player.  My suggestion to new players is to do their skill missions, & work in their home sector until they get all their skills, then venture out to explore nearby sectors.  To send a new player to VG, VC or even odin's to up their combat is a stupid suggestion, especially if they never played the game before.  that would discourage me if I was told to just go out & KILL, KILL, KILL as a warrior.  As a new player, you are NOT a warrior yet; you are learning the game & the community , especially the "old" player should be there as guides, and need to remember that not everyone played this game when it first came out in 2002 or whenever: I did not play the original, but my husband was here to guide me, as well as other players. 

     

    I think anything that does not have to do with the game should be taken to OOC, & not even to general chat.  game chat channels should be specifically for game chat, not your opinion on EA, politics, religion .your sex life, movies, music or what you had for breakfast, lunch ore dinner; cuz frankly I don't want to hear any of it.

    @ Vincent:  I didn't have a problem with the level 10 HU; the traveling was kinda slow (hahaha), but I think I got 3 levels out of the travel.  Also a missision did appear for me & told me who I had to see ( in the starter are), & the NPC said (at the end of convo)  that all other HUs would begin with Mckellan, and the master mission went into my mission log.

    i'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this or not; but here goes:

     

    TS hull patch mission: "Exploring the hardier, the better":  step 2: Inia tells you to go talk to Luzzini on "this" station (Margesi), he is NOT on margesi station, he is on Guiana Space Port station in Equitorial Earth.

     

     

    TS Build engines mission: Manufacturing sciences: in Margesi: step 1: search between shipyard navs 10 &11 to find & destroy 3 Glinting Manes.   Could not find any Glinting Manes, found Glittering Manes, but they do not count for mission.  Ask for advice, was told the Glinting Manes were located above & below the nav points.  went & bought a scan booster, spent 3 hours searching around the navs, up to 30K in all directions, still did NOT find any Glinting Manes.

     

     

    I have played this game through most of the Stress tests & now in the live version.  I enjoy playing very much,  would really like to get my TS up & running as it is one of my favorite class/race to play, but......since I started her a few days ago, it has been a royal PITA.  it just seems that every SKILL  mission has an error, or the items/mobs needed to complete the mission are non existant, or not where they are suppose to be.   I realize this is a new class, but so is the JS & PP & I had no problems at all in getting my PP up & running (haven't worked on my JS yet).  It may sound like I'm whining, but I not, really.....hopefully this is something that can be resolved, as it just seems that a lot of the content is "missing".....if you know what I mean.

     

    thanks for listening, maybe no one else had problems??? or just didn't say anything????
