Shang Li Chun still wont give me insane in the mainframe. Is there a GM around that could help me out?
Put the core in your vault, then try talking to him. See if he'll give you the mission then.
I had to transfer mine into my vault, then back to my hold for him to recognize that I actually had it so I could finish the mission I had in my logs, FOREVER! :D

Make sure that you do not have a firewall or something else blocking your ability to connect to the server. That is also a common problem.

When you are using the arrows, Megan will announce each one as you 'scroll' through. When a character appears and she doesn't say anything is when you have hit the 'jackpot'. Keep in mind that you still will not see them listed in the top row of character names/classes. They are just kind of tucked into them quietly. If you are still not seeing them then you have done something wrong. Remember, you WILL NOT see them in the launcher part of the game where you create characters, you must be using the stand alone program called "Character and Starship creator".

Fun choices will break the game. Cookie-cutter builds are good. Getting to 150 and having only 1 set of weapons for everything is cool.
And spending 28 skill points for farming weapons is good investment.
When the walls are around long enough, people stop yearning for the wider world.
You only have 1 set of weapons for everything and you can build cookies? Dammit! I want to build cookies and I also want the extra vault space that the multiple weapons/devices/reactors etc etc etc that I have are taking up ....
I also have an excess of 28 skill points ... all of my skills, and I do mean ALL of my skills have that pretty little gold dot in it .... I worked hard to get all of those skill points, because I yearned to see what other limits my toon could be pushed to.
Might I suggest you sit down and play the game and explore the content that is provided to you? If you do, I can assure you that you will find HOURS and HOURS of things to do that don't really have to involve your weapons at all ...
I would also like to point out, I might be old and musty, but I am having fun each time I log into the game *shrugs* It is what you make of it, change your perspective and you might see what all the rest of us see, just a thought.

I'd love to join. I Started my characters back up so I will need to grind about 100+ levels for each. My main is supremespike.
Please ask for an officer in game who can recruit you.

If it was approved you will likely have to wait for the patch in order to get it into the server.

Just to expand on what Kyp was saying. I have a couple of guild mates that experience this same issue from their home computers. They have given me access to their accounts/passwords and I can easily access these sectors from my machine, so it is almost certainly something being blocked from perhaps certain ISP's or firewalls or something of that nature.
The friends of mine that have issues accessing are from Luxembourg; I believe; if that helps at all.

unfortunately i can not track where it came from, i have removed it from your mission log you can go back and finish the mission series and get the nova flash beams, see teh weapons station in ishuan for the missions

It's not the launcher. That is a message that would be related to some piece of hardware you have either installed via an external port, or a piece of hardware that is internal to the computer itself.
Because it only appears when you try to launch the game, I would suggest you take a close look at your video card ...

The virtuals are located on Mars planet. Just go to Mars, when you get close enough to the planet you will get the 'eye' icon over the target window. That is how you will 'speak' to them.
Might I also suggest you stop to read along rather than just clicking through as you will get much information that way.

On Norstrand Vor station, Architecti Vegeto still has no name over his head. It's listed in the bug tracker as resolved, but the issue still exists. Can someone fix?
I THINK the bug report you are referring to was written by Pink back in 2012? If this is the case, I think nobody noticed that there was a parenthetical notice stating that his name was missing and focused only on the main content of the bug report stating that his name was mis spelled. If that is the one you are referring to Terrell, can you please post your screenshot in the bug report section with a description that clearly shows you are asking about a missing name for the NPC.

I'm going with "Draconian Empire Warship" roughly 200 meters or about 60 1/2 feet long ;) Based on scaling size, they don't seem to be much bigger than that, but I've been known to be wrong on more than one occasion :D

Would it be possible to change that to either just give you the option to end the chat or to ask about the intent of the repository? Improved Cloaking states that it “makes the ship harder to detect with see cloaking”. Does this portion of the skill actually do anything?
Example: You have a L4 cloak and you come upon a mob that sees cloaked. Do they see you every time or is there a chance they won’t see you at all?
If there is a chance, is it something that is repeated on a regular basis, or is it a one shot deal?
Example: You near a mob with see cloaked, you have L3 cloak, it didn’t detect you this time, but if you were to stay in its range it might see you when it ‘randomly’ samples again.

If you don't have all 4 boxes on your screen Hypno, then you aren't on the correct version of the launcher.
Open the launcher, click on 'Help' then 'Advanced Settings' then click the Force Update button. Close it all and then open the launcher again, that should force it to update to the proper launcher version.

Can the guy in Endriago that takes the gene maps have a goodbye dialogue option? That way after turning in your gene maps, if you have any, you don't have to go through what he says about gene-maps. Most have heard it before.
There is a dialogue after that? I usually just X out of the conversation and head out! LOL

It's your antivirus seeing the launcher as a threat. You have to get the launcher and the patcher into the 'trusted' files of Norton. I have no idea exactly how to do that as I steer far and clear from that program, as you have already noted here ;)

My question (yes I am still a player too) :)
In the original game Docs IIRC, Higher/est levels of Scan says "Can Detect Powerdown" is there any truth to that now or in the future ?
Its been a while since I have seen the Game Docs its some where on one of my PCs.
I didn't see anything relating to detecting powerdown in the original design docs, Phorlaug, therefore I won't be asking the team about this.
If you had something else in mind regarding this please elaborate for me because I obviously didn't understand.
