    yep =/ tried doing the test, not doing the test, the test ran in the appropriate resolution but saving after and running the game didn't help. UPDATE For anyone with similar issues, I'm running win7 and managed to retain the desired settings by running net7config in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2, also had run as admin enabled. cheers!

    on a somewhat related note, I ran the EBConfig tool (in the install directory) to change my resolution, however running the game seems to reset it to defaults. Is there a way around this?
