The idea was, when i made the post, that anyone who wants to might contribute their own twisted perspective on the passing of a decade or more.
Please feel free to contribute any now-ubiquitous words or phrases that you wouldnt have heard with the same ear, in Live.

I was thinking, so much has happened in the last few years; and a couple of phrases come to mind that now have meaning, but didn't, when i played Live.
Such as:
Drone Strike; no, it doesnt mean the drones have stopped working
Minor Nuclear Emergency; heard during a newcast about the Fukishima Disaster
Maybe you know some others?

I got the launcher on more than one character. One thing i noticed is when i tried making the ammo, i got one missle, not a stack. This was several weeks ago, at least, it may have been fixed.

dslreports.com`s tools use java, which i dont seem to have on my linux comp.

Also, in authlogin.log, I see error 10061.
GetTicketSync(1) failed with IAUTHORIZE_BAD_CONNECTION.
I hope some of this information is useful to someone.
Btw, my internet connection seems solid, will check with dslreports.com, and report any changes.

Yes, tried all options on the launcher.
Two things:
1: on my linux comp i never see the dos black box that i see on my winxp comp
2: running the launcher in `debug launch` i get the following error message: Sharing Violation on path "C:\Net7\release\client.exe" /L /LC /SSL:443 /POPT /DEBUGL
Details: Sharing violation on pat C:Net7/bin/launch.bat

I fiddled with permissions, got to where i can get as far as login screen, then inv-300 error.

Its in my home/user file, please excuse me if i dont use the proper terms, im new to linux.

First, this is great! I am making good progress getting enb to run on ubuntu.
Now I am getting the inv-300 error.
When i use the command line above for wine, i get the following response:
wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\net7proxy.exe"
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

My intention of this post was not to say where a specific ore might be, but to tell folks that there are changes to the roid fields, and more are to be expected. Also, I hope to learn of other sectors that change, so i can go explore them.

This weekend some fields got a major adjustment.
Glenn, Fenris, and Varen's Girdle are confirmed to have these changes.
No longer will roids have a random chance of having a particular ore in them, based on level.
Some sectors, or all, will only spawn certain ores.
For example, I was told, and can confirm (at lest when i looked), that you can't find discordite in Glenn, any more.
Sounds like we have some real exploring to do.

Same Error as above, Winxp home, also, in the dos window, I get `SSL_write failed`
Local Cert did me no good.
Please post if you find a workaround or other solution, thanks.
