running dx 11 and definately have a 3d device installed lol.

I can't seem to get the character and starship creator to work, I keep getting an error message cannot detect a 3d device or direct x8 or higher.  Is there a fix for this?

finally got in, I just needed to uncheck local certificate button

this must be way outdated since the site does not exist

I have followed all the suggestions I can find, making all the execs set to xp 3 and trying the uninstall AV  tip, I've clean booted my PC and tried to run it and still get the same error.  I even made a second account and tried to log with it, to no avail.  Can someone else give me a nugget to try?
