I did, before posting.
Hope EA doesn't mark emulator forbidden and shut it down.
If they do, we just move server to Moscow, India or Galapagos. Problem solved.

I assume you re-downloaded the patch ?
That did the trick for me. In my case it turned out the file was missing a few bytes here and there and a fresh DL solved it.

I'm all for it.
So if it's possible to modify local mix files without tempering client I would go for it.
In that case people can decide on their own if they apply the new gfx or not.

We all know there have been some CT issues for the past few months. See also THIS thread.
I found out how to avoid the CT issues !
Just play windowed. That's all there is to it !
If I play full screen, NO CT after gating and or docking.
If I play windowed, she sticks like a bunch of female flies on a fly-trap ! No more re-logging, just gate and engage like in the old days. woot woot
I was able to recreate this difference time after time.

I'm afraid if you gain xp to fast, people tend to skip alot of missions to get to 150 asap.
Therefor there is a risk of low level content being skipped thus not tested.

if you pay for ANY hull upgrades, it locks you out of all the missions with rewards.
Nuh uh, not quite true.
With every HU there is a specific side mission connected to it.
As you read through the dialog you get warned every time that if you pay for the HU (the Terran way) you loose the possibilty for the side mission that belongs to THAT specific HU. Be it 75-100-135.
i.e. You pay for the 100 HU, no side mission for you. You play the 135 HU, go fetch the side mission and get cool rewards like a CFB.
And I know, because I did some HU's that way.

Of course I know no one pocketed it, but you catch my drift.
I was more like wondering how it worked.
And frankly I can't really care to much where donations are going, because the devs are doing a tremendous job and got us all playing (read testing) again !
A job we never could afford if we would need to hire these devs.

- Auto follow not working when in formation. Really annoying.
- Buff icons disappearing when gating/docking.
- Warp stopping really slow when in formation. Causes overshooting 25k.
- Weapons get deactivated in combat. You need to reequip to get them functioning.
- Dropping to desktop to often.

Okay,
On the 31th of January the counter was at $1000+
The goal was $750,-
Good, we donated more than the goal was.
But with the new month I noticed the donation counter back at $25,- and a new set goal of $750,-
uhhmm... We still had approximately $300,- left last month. Where did that go ?
The counter should be at 300+25=325 ?
It's not that I am accusing someone for getting the money lost, that is not the intention of this post.
But I really would like some more transparency on where and what our donated money is spent.
