  1. I actually saw that error after I posted it, and never got a chance to change it.. It's 2 weapons nobody is going to use anyways but when I combine all the lists and make one giant post I'll fix it then. So my apologies on the x and z3's they are certainly wrong. I'll try and retest the Ballistic sniper again ( I saw numbers between 11000 and 64000 without buffs against 60 drones in BBW at the Paramis gate and a 1/4 shield being taken per shot so.. :unsure::unsure::unsure:

  2. Howdy guys I'm sorry it took so long to do this.

    I had a complete list made as some of you know and it was shared on the teamspeak server till it decided to crap out on us.

    This is as accurate as the other list but I never fired the ballistic sniper this time.. Last time i did I was 1 shotting 45/46 voltoi.. kinda tough to get a dps reading when your subject of experimentation is going poof and no numbers are coming up.

    So here it is done by the numbers ( aka no actual mobs were harmed in the creation of this list I did it by the numbers provided and it's exactly the same except for the ballistic sniper..

    Again as always the weapons are listed the % of the weapons is shown ( in the case of the prototype I listed a 110% one I have and Famines 166% and both sets of numbers). I gave the numbers for reload time and times fired per minute ( required to determine dps btw)I gave the actual numbers in sequence so you can see how the numbers were arrived at and explanations at the bottom of how it was done.

  3. As one of those darned JD's that solo the rd base for fun and profits..

    No just kidding please don't tickle me..

    Here is a few thoughts on the game as it currently sits.

    I personally think anything 60+ should require a group.

    NOTHING 64-66 should be solo able.

    I think anything beyond 60(say voltoi and the gsp's in primus/tarsis) as a limit, should not be soloable.

    One way to fix the problem is make the mobs social the resist should work( would certainly cure gobb and the rd base and ....)

    The thing about the rd base is it's all about timing on a JD.

    I could explain how the JD's kill the base.. I have to 2 others so far. And in both cases the person I explained it to can kill the base now.

    It's wrong that any class can kill a endgame content mob solo (even tho the RD base gear isn't worth a fart in the wind).

    The rd base can be cured for the JD's the same way the controller was fixed for ts's ( adding the little pita missile that has more range then I do was one way.. I'm sure it doesn't affect a tt/te really it just removes the possibilities to my ts. No great loss). You could raise the damage on the little prick missile and remove the tt/te from the possibility to kill the controller...You could also add multiple targeting also.. and kill the tt/te at the same damned time.. Beginning to sound like a raid now.. doesn't it.

    You could fix the AI(gasp) and add social helpers.. Imagine the controller was actually being helped by the PA's... I'm sure having 3 66's after a te might change his beady little mind on trying to solo him.. Oh wait you could add 25k scan like you did to gobb's minnions and a 15k range(not)...Why not just make the mob faster.. say 950 on the pa's and a 15k scan.. like we have...

    Ten-gu in cooper are wrong.. Mobs of fish are fine but not constant spawning.. I mean it's fun on a pw but stupidly hard on everyone else. Insta engine kill gravlink we all know is wrong.. Hell the pw's grav link doesn't even draw aggro and we know that is wrong.) Btw during the summer grav link was drawing aggro just fine... I dunno why that was removed.. It would be nice if gravlink actually worked.. Like adding mass to a mob to slow it down like it did live.. How about equal levels of gravity link for pw's as the fish have.. PSI resists should be working to give a chance to fail/succeed.

    I could add a anti progen dev rant here but I digress no need to add any more angst to an already complicated problem. Beside the broken skills I think you guys are doing all right..

    Increase resistances.. I know that is being added and no need to beat a dead horse.

    How about an area of effect from a mob.. a PW can area sap/invert.. How about other mobs shield recharging the boss if being attacked.. How about debuffs on us like they had live and show the icons.. Be nice to know what to bring resists for..

    JD's my soft spot in my tiny little heart.. How about you fix the coma/see invisibility and combat cloak.. that would get rid of the jd's ability to solo the base.. You could also make the base a little faster spinning to stop us also till you fix the bigger problems.. you could also add a multi directional weapon..

    TE/TT's umm how fast were they live.. Are they to fast now.. Are the mobs to slow.. Is there ranges to great..

    What about the TS can we have our impulse speeds unlocked..

    This doesn't even begin to touch the question of our turbo levels..(I know it's not programmed in yet)

    Overall I think the devs are doing an admirable job for what they have to work with..

    I also think the heavy handed smacking of specific races and making mobs have unrealistic ranges to stop said races is wrong also.. Is it really heavy handed.. I've gotten mixed results to my inquires ingame. Is the pw to powerful.. According to what I have been told they are as powerful as they were live and sap is to powerful yet.. Is it?? I don't know I was a ps live.. I wont get into menace as psi resists and the skill hardly works yet. Whats your thoughts.. Were the live devs right.. are the current ones right.. Can we meet in the center.. Can we also stop saying you guys are making this like live.. You're not. Why make it like live. and so on and so forth....

    This is my current thoughts on the entire matter and I hope I offended the offended and made the rest of you think.. That has always been my intentions.. To make you think.. We have the opportunity to make this the best gaming community in online gaming.. All we need is a little consideration from both sides and for each side to help each other. Isn't that the reason we are here..

    Cdel I deleted the old net7 folder and reinstalled it from your installer in the download section. What I had to do to get into the game was have a buddy in teamspeak zip his net7 folder up and email it to me. I can get into the game but I can't update currently and this is what I got from pings.( I'm a fairly advanced computer user)the proxy updater just kinda skips over the patching process and doesn't check the folder at all.

  5. Guys I have been talking to David and the devs I will try and do this for you guys. So I'll talk to Vaden and get him to talk to the dev's they want to talk to the candidates first before they go onto the ballot. Encourage your local candidate to talk to the devs they will have to attend meetings twice a month. So talk to them I'll do what I can. I have already spoken to David and said I would. Good luck to the rest.

  6. The DPS without buffs and skill damage is just like that:

    Bile Cannon for Example:

    181 damage (235 damage at 200%)

    2.1 sec reload (1.3 sec reload at 200%)

    = 181 / 2.1 = 86.19 Damage per second at 100%

    = 235 / 1.3 = 180.76 Damage per second at 200%

    If you shoot at mobs you never get the real DPS without anything added, because of resists and skill damage.

    If you want to know the added buffs like enhance and turbo you need the calculation the server does,

    because again, the skill damage and resists you will see at the screen.

    Just so you know this is strictly observed damage this is as unbuffed as I can make it, I also have part 2 and part 3 mostly done I will post the current numbers and a few observations and the formulas and stuff needed to try an undertaking like this. Again I want you guys to know the first part was strictly dps by the numbers now comes the fun part and a few surprises.

  7. I gotcha.

    I was asking about the Fang's buff since it seemed you had already factored in the enhance projectile buff from the Reaver as part of it's dps benefit. On the BB, same reasoning. According to purely dps numbers, you'd be better off dropping the BB and replacing w/ a Bile Cannon.

    Not criticizing, just offering feedback that may perhaps point you in a direction to go in terms of filling out the spreadsheet.

    I know I like the bb for the buffs mainly.

    If I was to go straight dps it would be a spitter fotm and 4 biles but it's not always about dps..

    Again this was based on reload speed and ammo dps as given for a time period. How fast, how much, and with what.

    When I update this next I am going to have 1 weapon and ammo no buffs other then what the weapon provides and I am going to probably shoot 45 voltoi since they are not aggro and they do a consistent amount of damage and fire 1 gun at a time reading the actual damage. I am going to screen shot the actual damage of the weapon unbuffed as much as I can ( again I can't help +200% for lvl 9 weapons unless someone wants to donate 30-50m to pay for a bunch of bio sequence devices).

  8. A couple comments...

    - Your Prototype Z 9 reload time is different than what's listed at enbdb. I don't have one so I can't verify it, but I do need to ask, is 3.8 at 100% correct?

    - The Fang has the projectile force buff on it, but I don't know the actual amount. Is it 3% or 4% added damage? And does it work?

    - The Brimstone Ballista really seems to have kinda mediocre dps. Aside from the reactor cap buff and shield renewal (which is really only important if you're solo) why would you use that versus replacing it with another Bile Cannon?

    - Your reload numbers seem like they're compiled from the in game screen, but the server side code calculates time out to milliseconds, so there's rounding error in your numbers. Not statistically significant, but something interesting nonetheless.

    - Lastly your spreadsheet didn't have any formulas in it, not sure if that was intended, but again figured I'd mention it.

    I listed the methodology of how I came about the numbers in the text description here in the forums ( reload time divided by 60 to get rate of fire per minute, multiply the ammo damage, and divide by 60 for dps).

    On my next update I'll add the formula on how it was done.

    Second I do not have a prototype either and I asked about and 3.8 was the reload I was given if anyone else has a decent % prototype and wants to list the reload rate.. I'll edit my list.

    Thirdly this is base damage only, no buffs added.

    This is ment to be used to select a dps setup only!!

    I added three place % on the xls if you notice without the exact fire rate other then rounded .x I can't be more accurate.

    This is as accurate as I can get given the numbers I had to work with.

    I will add the buff damage and the % and stuff as I go this is just to get it started.

  9. Howdy guys and gals, I have been doing a little numbers crunching recently.

    I had been wondering which level 9 projectile launcher did the best damage and a few interesting things came up.

    I had always thought that the fang was one of the best dps(Damage per second) weapons around..

    I am sad to say it's not.. Also the number 1 was no surprise.

    For the record my PW ran a archos/fang/brimstone ballista/fotm/reaver/spitter.

    Now after running the numbers I use a archos/bile/brimstone/fotm/reaver/spitter.

    I would plead with the devs to help the reaver at least make archos dps either by increasing the reload speed or something or a new weapon/device/engine with 40% power conservation.

    So without further adieu here is the current ingame weapons list (not counting the 1 or 2 dung cannons about)

    If you happen to have a dung cannon or other exotic weapons.

    Send me the reload and damage on the ammo and I will update the lists.

    This was done in office 2010 I will post a xls and a xlsx.

    My methodology:

    Was to take the reload time divide it by 60(example 2 second reload) 60 seconds = 30 reloads per minute).

    Multiply the ammo damage(example 223 for the reaver @ 200% ammo) to get 6690.

    Divide that by 60 for 1 minute and the number is 111.5.

    This is the dps the weapon does in base form without add on damage multipliers and stuff.

    Simple right and you might say the enbdatabase website was right till you look the devs have screwed with a few of the reloads and ammo damage.

    I plan on updating this list and trying to add turbo numbers and damage multipliers to see what works and what doesn't.

    Example does the reavers 30% damage really increase your dps.

    Does the plagues bite really add 20% more damage/reload speed.. we shall find out.

Thank You Ahrimar I have kicked both of them from the guild and will get alts as I find them. if you guys want to know where this was taken from it's XX:\Earth & Beyond\release\chat.log I wont take this from anyone in the guild. If you have issues with my guild let me know and post the text of the problem. Or let me know in game or Greggary he has admiral in the guild also.

    The next 3 images are from in-game showing 700 oya 800 zpc about 4:30pm pst all pictures were taken within 10 minutes of each other.

    And the current stack sizes and the current icons (oya was changed from the silver hammer icon to the slime/berzerk icon).

    I have the originals of my screenshots in png format and the enbdatabase website is current and hasn't changed since march if there is any questions. :):angry::angry:

  12. I witnessed the attacks today in the market and general channel. The third individual tried to stay out of the discussion and tried to diffuse the situation. That person decided that the chip&dale were inebriated, children, or were just plan having trouble dedicating mental facilities to the fact the third individual was trying to not answer the 2 individuals. That same third person is also capable of a serious temper issues and did his level best to just ignore the chip&dale. He was followed into the market channel and harassed their also. At no point did the person being attacked get mad and didn't lose any sort of his temper. He also understands that his nickname at times can be an irritation to religiously sensitive individuals( get over yourself). Said third individual is not going to wage a complaint, there is no point. Just hope chip&dale lay of the libations, grow up and add enough mental facilities to get off it.
