I just downloaded and installed everything using the new method as well and I got this exact same issue. I skipped the update and clicked play. The game starts and I get to the login screen and I used my net 7 login that I registered with, but I get the Inv 300 error. I did all the fixes on the tech support page for that error and I still get the inv 300 error. Im guessing this is because the update failed?
