    Fixed my own case, apparently the server's DNS is slightly different...

    Old DNS:

    play.net-7.org or 87.160.15.67

    New DNS (working):

    play2.net-7.org or 87.106.15.67

    Ran cmd ping and tracert, everything is fine with the new DNS.

    Can't upload my screenies, too big. :)

    Edit: To change your default DNS, go to your Net-7/bin directory, then open up LaunchNet7.cfg

    Change the highlighted line to the new DNS ((play2.net-7.org) OR (87.106.15.67))

    Save.

    I do recomment to create a backup somewhere just in case.

    Did this, receiving:

    Error launching client.

    Details: Could not create backup of "rg_regdata.ini" file. Details: Access to path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Earth & Beyond\Data\client\ini\rg_regdata.ini.orig is denied.

    please help.

    If you want to try one of the 3 classes not in live, install the Character and Starship Creator and do this...

    Right click the shortcut to the Character and Starship Creator, go to properties. You should see a "target path" on the general tab. Go to the end of what's in that box after the quotes and type a single space, then:

    -noclassrestrictions

    then click apply and ok. After that, use that shortcut to start your character creator and you should be set.

    This didn't work for me... I'm most likely missing something, but I double checked, and nothing doing for the extra 3 toon options.

    Ok i had this same problem and it was driving me nuts I finally went to the forum and tried my username and password and it said I didnt exist even though i was playing the game earlier today. So I re registered in the forums then went to the new ST4 link and it worked fine. Dont understand but dont care. It now works. Try that.

    Nice, this worked. Someone probably already explained this, and I was probably too busy panicking to notice. Thanks!

    Well, when I made a second account, I got errors following the email verification, but was able to log in with the second username after I refreshed the page. The first time I tried to log in, it rejected the name and password, but after a refresh it worked for the second account.

    This is frustration? I'm a certified computer technician, I eat frustration for breakfast B)

    Well, whatever you eat for breakfast, your help is appreciated. The struggle continues.
