I did a binary diff of it against the original and it does indeed only have a small one-byte change.  However I encourage you to use standard due diligence in scanning any binary executable downloaded from the internet.

I've been using this patch for months now, and have never seen the 'Earth&Beyond is already running' on the PC running the patched client.exe.

I'd really like to see those scripts. Launching E&B drives me crazy because due my bad ISP connection I crash almost every second gate.

In my experience hosting costs, server rental, ... in Germany is still pretty cheap. I run ~ 20 servers with different german hosters (1&1, Hosteurope, Hetzner) and currently move all my business to Hetzner where i already got 8 of the boxes.

Pricing of Hetzner dedicated machines is unbeatable low, they have a brilliant infrastructure and you can reach the admins 24/7 by phone. So for my part hosting my own servers at co/lo's makes finacially no sense!

I really don't exactly know the EnB team's requirements but for $1200 a month i can rent a whole bunch of machines at Hetzner!

Don't tell me €59($77) for a i7-920 24GB RAM, or €89($116) for Xeon E3-1275 16GB is expensive. Also additional stuff like Lara-console, additional ip-ranges, etc. is well priced. They even let you install ESXi so you can virtualize by yourself.

Oh well yes - but that's not the real problem. Problem is that the net7 account creation cannot access the forums database (see my 2nd screenshot). So no new player accounts can be created at all.
