    ok, so, i got signed in on the st4 site, how do we go about signing up for the accounts, i hear we can have up to 3? i tried the play2.net-7.org, got to the login page, using the info i ha from st3, and, it wouldnt recognize my password, so, im sure i messed up someplace...any help would be appreciated...thanks in advance

    If I am not mistaking, I do believe once you sign up for ST4 that is your new account for the new server. Someone Correct me if I am wrong...

    Ok,

    You are able to create THREE accounts to ONE forum user.

    However, you still MUST use the register link to create an ingame account as before.

    The Signup validates your e-mail address and forum USERNAME (not display name) and then will create your account if all the critera are matched.

    Slayerman, I tried that as well and tried like 4 or 5 times still get the "error/user not found". Wondering what else to try as far as registering for ST4?? Anymore ideas??

    Because if someone on the team *knew* how long it was gong to be down they would probably have posted it already . . . making the original question rather spurious and therefore inviting such response.

    You and Avani both need to chill out. I was asking the question because I haven't played this game in years and when I found out there was an emulator out I was excited and if you read my other posts you would of known I was having alot of problems getting the net 7 app to work and to be able to log in game so that I can play. My question is therefore valid and it is in the right area. This question was intended for the people who are in charge of running the server. Have a good day Jarod! :)

    Just wondering how long will the server be down? As I looked in the forums and saw nothing stated to what happened if it crashed or was taken down for some reason. Would be nice for it to come back online so I can start playing again. I have been enjoying it for 2 days now and cant get enough. Also a big thanks for the hard work and the continuing of the game which is not left for dead. You guys are awesome for bringing it back, a salute to you guys!! ;)

    You can't run the game directly, you have to run it through net7proxy, which is what the launcher does. What problem are you having with the launcher?

    I fixed the problem I had NET Framework 2.0 installed and it didnt work until I installed NET Framework 3.5 So now the net 7 launcher works perfectly and was able to log into the game. I am good to go as of now, thanks for the help.

    Another Problem :) after I created my char and customized my ship I select the sunrise server then it gives me a map while loading but only it doesnt load because I would see my harddrive light come on like normal games do with some sort of progress bar but I just keep starring at this map created 2 char one I skipped the tutorial to see if it would matter and still get stuck at the map with no loading activity and server is still up. I had to run the game manually thru the release in the e&b folder because the net 7 launcher wont work after the update which is weird and I am not sure if this is causing it to no load up. Man this is annoying after awhile, why cant things be simple? hehe ah well..

    Make sure you have signed up at http://net-7.org/stresstest/

    You will receive an email confirmation, click the link to activate your account.

    you dont get banned. this simply means that you never used the activation link in the email you got after creating the acc.

    I still have the email and clicked on the activation link and it gave me an error then went to another page and entered the info manually incase the first link didnt work and it still gave me the same error and said have to contact an administrator for this problem with the activation on the account.

    Heres the error: [#10120] We could not find the validation request you are attempting to verify.

    I went to the e&b folder and launched the client myself and entered my name & pass and it says " account temporary banned "??? why do I get this never was able to log in and the net 7 launcher gave me an error so now when I do I get banned? Curious to why this happened as I am new here and had been having troubles getting this thing to run. Anyone have any ideas here? I registered for everything including the stress test 3.

    Dude! Your Awesome!! It worked dammit it worked hehe thanks alot and a big thanks to kohryu as well. All I have to do is patch it up to date and I can finally play, Thanks again both of you.

    Ack! after the patching was done it gave me an error again :/ figures. is there certain settings that need to be checked on the launcher? just wondering why the error after I hit play when it finally updated.

    I did everything you outlined me to do then after the net 7 app was installed it gives me an error so its the net 7 app I downloaded from the downloads section. It gives me an application error not sure why this does this so it was unable to update as well. Anyone have a net 7 app that works I downloaded it from the downloads section a couple of times already and still no success in getting it to run any help would be grateful, thanks.

    Also wondering does net 7 have to be in a certain area like in the e&b folder? As I usually install it by itself and it goes into c:net/7 I still get the error as I reinstalled net 7 again.

    One of the reasons you may not be able to log in at this time is because the server is offline for maintenance. Keep checking your Net7 launcher until it says "Online" then give it a shot.

    Yes I figure so but i need help with what files to install in what directories? So I can make sure I am doing it right because I get an error trying to launch the net 7 app.

    Hello, I am new here and would like some help in the steps to install the game and the emulator along which directories they go in as I must be doing something wrong and cannot load up the game/emulator to the log in screen. I already registered with the stress test and the forums so any info would help and to be specific as possible to please. It's good that you guys are keeping this alive as It was my favorite game back in the day and was mad the EA gave up on it. Will look for your replys and thanks for reading and your time.
