Progress of sorts. No error popup now. (I will have to ask him later what he did, if you want to include this as a troubleshooting method for others... if they encounter the same issue).
However.
Game Crash on password entry.

Copy your fully patched C\Net-7\bin folder over his and it'll most likely be resolved. This is a problem with a file that tells the Launcher what to offer in its drop down lists.
Information from his computer copied to external hard drive and then imported to my files.
New error that states:
"Could not patch registry settings because of a security conflict. Run LaunchNet7 again as an administrator."
All permissions have been set to "Full Control" that we can find to change.

My roommate was trying to get me setup to play this with him, and we keep running across an error that we cannot seem to find a bypass for.
Computer specs:
Dell Inspiron 1012 netbook
Windows 7
(let me know if you need any other information... but I don't think it applies)

He has modified all permissions that he can find regarding Net7 and EnB both.

Error is as follows:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
InvalidArgument=Value of '5' is not valid for 'index'.

Details:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I've whittled Louden's missions down to the two repeatables and I can't seem to get him to give me anything else. Growing very ill of repeating these quests, even if they are good experience. I am using missiles now, at least. I'm on step four of a very long mission chain that I think is the same one I read about (on here) persisting through the game.
I'm confused on what I am supposed to be doing next, where I should go and who I should talk to. At least, with my JE, the trainer sent me to my next mission-giver at the end of the training session. Having skimmed through the forums, maybe I missed something obvious - and I'll give another read-through in the hopes of just that - but does anyone have any advice? Thanks.
