Cannot login issue

Hi,

My hard drive on my laptop was just replaced, so I now have a clean install of Windows 8 Pro.  I've installed E&B / Net-7 and patched to the current version ok, but when I try to run the Net-proxy, I get the "Server failed to respond to Login attempt" message.  I can login ok from my desktop (also Win8), so it shouldn't be an issue with my network/router.  I have the Windows firewall completely disabled, and other apps that need internet access seem to be working ok.

Any ideas / suggestions?

Common fixes for this problem include:

 

1. Bad DNS record - reboot routers / run command - ipconfig /flushdns

 

2. Wrong server address set - Select sunrise.net-7.org

 

3. Wrong local IP set. - Select correct local interface

 

4. Server is down.
