Call Forward

Would there be a way in the distant future to Call Forward our Primary Tech skills Like engines, Shields or reactors?

I can't see anyone doing CF on Shields or Reactors but Engines are different.

 

You know like maybe put a Call Forward Device in the engine slot?

Or how about a level 1 engines, Shields or Reactors sold by the Same NPC that sells the CF devices in Arx Spartol.

Used together ?

 

Please don't say Client Thing.

Easy fix would be not accepting any of those skills Call Forward request if you don't have L1 equipment equipped... (and not applying it if someone did a quick trick to swap it after notification -- Double check before and after accept etc.)

Don't forget Devices, you cant CF them either.   <_<  

 

So it is the big 4, engines, reactors, shields and devices. ;)

If you have a level 8 engine, reactor or shield and do a Call Forward on it and do not have any other of that item at level 1, what happens.  You are outside of a station, but not necessarily right outside, you could be a couple of navs away. 

 

You are not incapped, so no tow.  you can not use the installed items, indeed, you should not even have been able to install them.  Do they automatically un-install?  You have nothing that can be put into their place. 

 

Up till now, the game has ALWAYS made sure there was something on those slots.  The game has no past experience with dealing with this.

 

Just some questions.  Do you have a way of handling these in mind?

 

Devices are different in that you can have none installed.  That does not cause the same problems.

Like the previous poster said, CF on those 3 (engine, shield, reactor) would be rejected if you don't have a lv1 item already equipped in the slot.  For devices, if you have enough cargo space, all devices will be uninstalled and put into your cargo hold, or otherwise the CF would be rejected.
