Free WH, what can you ask?  :)

 

Don't get me wrong!!!  Yes, we still have problems with WH, but it __IS__ an improvement over what happened in the past, where GMHs are rampant, both inside and outside of Megan hours (of course less frequently outside of Megan Hour).

 

Also, it happened to me once that after I took the WH the first time, my toon did not get the jump, so I re-issue the WH from the JE. and this time my toon got displaced to a different coord.  I then land at the station, and __then__, inside the station, I receive yet another WH!!!!  This is happening inside Megan hour, while things are very wacky!  With all that said, I'll take a misplaced WH over having to kill and restart the client via the Task Manager.

PS: If you excuse me, I removed real IP info (first two lines) 

 

During these first 5 minutes, Kansas one was up to 50% loss... Gating stuck 2 times, wormhole seemed to stuck 3 times (after accepting wormhole you stay in same sector, nothing works after)

 

Today was a lot better than 2 days ago... I believe it may have to do something with weekend...  (Their Sunday 00:00 hour databackup? Sounds like default preset for backup)

Here are mine, no problems before 12AM EST and after I have gating problems and just bad lag that lasts till about 1AM

Per Dakynos:

I have been having some issues mostly at Megan hour, Unplayable and it seemed to be only on my Win 7 machine.

I am doing all that I can on my end to improve connectability and stability.

I'll go through a list of the things I have done and checked.

 

You may think its extream but none the less, I had to make sure it wasn't my end or ISP. Comcast 2nd Teer speeds on giga bit LAN.

 

What I have seen during Megan hour is that when I fire my weapons on the Win7 machine My XP machine will recieve

the Packets faster and display the fireing of my Beams, almost instantly.. This is packets moving in one direction ...?

 

It takes litterally 3-7 seconds for that information to come back to my Win7 machine and show my Beams firing, during Megan hour.

 

Now so far what I have did:

1) Rebooted giga bit Switch.

2) Rebooted Router

3) Rebooted Cable Modem.

4) Shorten 50' RJ-45 cable to 25 feet and replaced the connectors.

5) Replaced the Win7 machine with my XP machine from work. After I removed all the un-necessary Acer crap from Win7.

Above Win7, below Windows XP.

6) Did all the .NET framework upgrade/installs.

7) Downloaded and installed the Microsoft Visual C++ files. (Windows updates won't fine the Visual C++ You have to search for them Manually in the Microsoft updater search box)

8) I did a "Tracert" on my Network-to-server. "Sunrise.net-7.org"

 

After doing the Tracert I was stuned to learn that the packets from me to Our 1&1 passed through 13 different Routers !

Image below: On a couple of the Tracerts I did, 1 timed out and one had a latency of over 160 ms across all three pings.

1 and 2 were my Gaming router and Cable modem. I though it a good idea to hide those addresses. :)

When you look at the Pings when they hit the 1&1 Routers and servers they are all over 40ms with the highest being 206ms.

 

Looking at the data, and please correct me if I'm wrong, almost HALF ! of the Packet routing is done through 6 Points on the 1&1 site!?

It looks as though the communication back is lagging or lost. IDK.

 

Next step During Megan hour.

type "/delag 100" during Megan hour

And After typing this I will release and renew my IP Address.

And maybe Try the "lock Port" option Efialtis did.

I am actually waiting For Megan Hour to see if what I have done has made a difference.
