Update Error?

So I realize I am late to the party but I am trying to get this whole thing working. I have got everything installed and I am running it in xpSP2 compattibility mode... but during the client update i get a .net framework error indicating that an invalid arguement has occured involving the vaule of '5' being not valid for 'index' I have the full detail log available if it will help but wanted to know if i just messed something up
