Zackman [LDEV] Posted November 17, 2012 Report Share Posted November 17, 2012 Stained, first: Your equipment needs a bit love: Get rid of your shield and have someone building it for you, it makes a huge diff. if using Vendor- or playermade stuff! Get rid of your engine, its 3.9K signature, means every mob will see you from about 8-9K range - get a Solar Sail L4. Swap out the Roadrunner in Combat and equip a Chimeara Plasma debuffer! If its player made(!), you will raise your damage...IF: Get rid of the Protobeams (energy type!!) and get Ocelot beams! When you use them with the playermade Chim, your damage raises instantly for 25% ish ! Tactics: As as CL 12 JD, you could go to Freya and take on the Mist Lords. Just make sure you play it smart: Single out a mob, you have summon Cloak, fire, leech...cloak. Get a range extender for beams and stay 2-3K away (drive constantly backwards). Yes there is a repeatable JD mission. Message me I'll help you out with what ever you need. And one valuable tool you definitely should use is the "[Test] Ship" app on the [url="http://www.net-7.org/"][color=#00ff00]http://www.net-7.org/[/color][/url] You have to log into the Net-7 site. It should be the same Password you used to log onto the forums iirc? Select your character, it will be the very last tab. You will be amazed how much more DPS you find in your ship. Increasing your critical targeting will also make a big difference in DPS. At lower levels get a reactor thats just as good as your shield, time your Psionic shield activation to conserve energy And summon individual targets from the group. Do this and you'll do fine. Yes X, there are quite a few CL10 (overall level 30ish) combat repeatables around progen and "neutral" space with this last content push. I suggest exploring a bit and talking to different npcs. You might find some good ones you can do. Youll just have to get out of Jenny space and think different, since the majority of the missions like I said, are in progen controlled space.
