Trade Runs - Were they nerfed or was this an accident

Recommended Posts

The spice run did "dry up" after TL 32ish you got less and less per item, higher negotiate off set it for a while so those TT could go around 34-36ish and still be efficient, this still holds true. Why is the pluto>earth good? It don't dry up, since the trade item is a higher tiered item it still keeps giving the same XP per item even at TL50, and if you should have a negotiate skilled toon, the same holds true you get ever more per item xp rather than lowered amounts like spice.

The other reason, same amount of gates as spice run, but way shorter distances to each game, consider pluto to saturn, by the time your engine goes through its revving up animation, you're at the gate, it takes longer to actually gate than to get to it in both pluto and akeron's, in saturn from akeron's to ABA its about the same distance prasad is to SE. The longest streach is ABA and thats about the same as edinberg, so in short, you gate all 4 gates in the time it takes to gate 2.8 gates of the spice run.

As you cottoned on to, also once the the appropriate lvls are reached you can do terminal side jobs along the way, you can take L50 jobs combats from pluto and do them on return by just taking 1 sector off for them (uranus), at L105 jobs, you take combats that are in ABA on way back, or explore garbage/sat runs to charon in pluto, both are along the way and fast.
