128hoodmario
Yep I have this same problem. I'll try some of the solutions posted here
128hoodmario
Ok, this redistributable (VC8++) fixed the issue for me: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=9b2da534-3e03-4391-8a4d-074b9f2bc1bf (Tripple-Post FTW) After some other people assured me of that links worth, IT WORKED! I'm in Earth and Beyond YES! Thank you I owe you one EDIT: now I have a different problem that the OP had. I got it to load after downloading that link in the quote. I log-in create my character and ship, but then I get stuck on that map loading screen not being able to get off of it and it never ends
Zackman [LDEV]
Hi ! I think, the loading screen (map) error is server side, the sector login seems to be jerked (load, crash...whatever). THis is still Alpha Simply retry a bit later and all will be fine.

Guest Lunatic_Fringe
I am STILL having the same problem as I stated in the first post Every time I get an update, and then try to start the game , same problem. I correct the problem by over-writing the files in /Net7/bin with files from Net7launcher_setup_2_ from a link I got in these forums, but that puts me behind in the updates. This all started back on December 16th, with v237 same problem and fix for V238, and now with latest V245 update with Net7Launcher 1.9.1 Please PM me, or respond here, if there is ANY way to correct this problem. Man what a drag.... I know, I know,,, we are still testing....
schmorgan
Original Problem still exsists, as stated in 1st post Still same problem with last 2 updates, v238 and v245 (Launcher v1.9.1) I have to over-write the files with the files from Marco's site( or link ) to get the game to run. This is a true bummer when I CTD and then get an update, then I have to re-over-write the files again to play the game. Any Help / Ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanx... Numiah2
I had the same error two weeks ago after a reformat. Turned out the trick for me was a fresh install of .NETframework 3,5 But judging on the first page I can assume you've tried that?
