? For GM: Macro- Yea or Na?

Recommended Posts

Heard today that Macros are allowed if you at the computer so you can respond to a GM's /tell. And if your not then you get banned? We talking Perm or Temp?

I remember a year ago you could macro and if you did not respond you just got kicked... Just want a clear answer from a GM so I know what the Law is.

Thanks

I have heard alot of talk in game and in forums about this, here is a quote from CDel from another thread:

That raises a good point: attended macroing is allowed and I see no problem with it. Anything a macro can do, a human can typically do faster and better (excepting chat spamming of course).
The policy may have changed but attended macros might be allowed from what I get from Cdel above. However I thought I saw another thread that stated no macroing was allowed, think it was kyp, but I could not find it at a quick glance. Edited by Maniac

macros are allowed as long as they are attended, afk macroing is not allowed, if a gm needs to contact you and you do not respond within 5-10 minutes you will be kicked and banned for 24 hours first offence.
