Net 7 update error

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've installed EnB on a second machine but keep getting an error message.

I've downloaded the main EnB client, run the update file then installed the Net 7 launcher.

While Net 7 is updating I get the attached error.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Really.

Is there anyone who can help me fix this?

The problem was on the server side. It should be fixed now.

I am still getting the same problem. Do I have to re-install the hole game right from start?

Wait I get this now:

and i get (Error4 Couldn´t find the patch. try again lather)

Did you follow the steps in CDels Start up guide or the FAQ on http://net-7.org to the letter? It sounds like you're trying to use the castanet patcher (e&b.exe) in the game's main directory, instead of our launcher.

Please obtain a screenshot of the launcher before you click the "Play" button, and post it for us, something tells me at the top next to the Browse button you have:

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Earth & Beyond\e&b.exe

when instead it should be pointed at:

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Earth & Beyond\release\client.exe

Indeed. You need to use the "Browse" button near the upper right-hand corner of the launcher to correct this. When you click "Browse", look for a folder called "release" and inside there should be a file called "client.exe", which you need to select.
